[ChanMi's movie news] 'Best Actress Award' goes to...

For the movie "Seven Days" by Director Won Sin-yeon, actress Kim Yoon-jin was awarded the 'Best Actress Award' at the 45th annual Daejong Film Festival.

She was so surprised that she would be given such a high award for she was nominated among great actresses like Jeon Do-yeon, Park Jin-hee, Im Soo-jeong, and Kim Hae-sook.

Kim Yoon-jin's debut drama "May 18" kicked off her career into a series of awards. She is also in America's popular ABC show, "Lost".

"Seven Days" is a thriller about a lawyer mother fighting against her daugher's murderer. She was awarded for her portrayal of a strong motherly affection for a daughter and courageous determination win a trial for her daughter's murderer.
