The film "Old Boy" received the Best Picture Award at this year's Korea Film Awards.
At the ceremony on Sunday at Little Angels Theater in Seoul, the film, directed by
Park Chan-wook, received five awards in all, including Best Actor for
Choi Min-sik and Best Music.
The Best Actress Award went to
Jeon Do-yeon for her role as a young diver in love in "Ino Kongju (My Mother, the Mermaid)". Also from the same movie, Ko Doo-shim, who played Jeon's mother, received the Best Supporting Actress Award.
The Best Supporting Actor prize went to
Lee Moon-sik of "Pomjoeui Chaegusong (The Big Swindle)". The film also garnered the Best New Director Award and the Best Script Award for its director
Choi Dong-hoon.
