'KBS Drama Awards' Best New Actor and Actress awards for Seo In-guk Park Hyung-sik Kim Seul-gi Nam Ji-hyun

Actors Seo In-guk and Park Hyung-sik and actresses Kim Seul-gi and Nam Ji-hyun were co-awarded Best New Actor and Actress Awards from the KBS Drama Awards, which took place at KBS Hall, Seoul on December 31, 2014.

Seo In-guk said accepting his award "Thank you, all the staff as well as the people from my agency for working so hard behind the scenes. I would run out of time to say each name here so I'll call everyone later. Thank you for giving me this Best New Actor Award, the once in a lifetime award. I will continue to work hard until the ending of "The King's Face" trying to make it perfect".

Park Hyung-sik said "I didn't know I'd be able to receive this award. I think this may be the first and last time I could participate in a drama that earned over 40% rating. I'll try hard to perform better".

Kim Seul-gi said "Thank you, director Jang Jin for the opportunity to act".

Nam Ji-hyun commented accepting the award, "This award is thanks to the power of the drama rather than my performance. I'll keep trying hard to show good performance".

Seo In-guk played Prince Gwang Hae in "The King's Face", Park Hyung-sik played the youngest son, Cha Dal-bong in "What Happens to My Family?", Kim Seul-gi played Yoon Sol in "Discovery of Romance" and Nam Ji-hyun played Kang Seo-wool in "What Happens to My Family?".

The 2014 KBS Drama Awards presented awards to actors and actresses who showed great performance in each category of miniseries, medium length drama, long drama, daily drama, one-act drama during January to June, one-act drama during September to December. In addition, netizens' awards for actor and actress and best couple awards were selected by vote from viewers. The ceremony was hosted by Seo In-guk, Park Min-young and Kim Sang-kyung.
