Before its release in the U.S., cinema 'Oldboy' holds a special preview as a form of showcase.
KOCCA (Korea Culture & Content Agency) U.S.Office said 'Oldboy' is provoking the most great interest among Korean cinemas distribited directly within the U.S. on the basis of its splnedid awarding career etc.
Cinema 'Oldboy' is a movie, which is being known widely already to the U.S. society with all sorts of prizes in several Film Festivals such as Cannes Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival in the meantime.
As Korean cinema 'Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... And Spring' had gained box office success of $2.5 million during 20 weeks in LA and New York theaters on April, last year and 'Toegukki: Brothers of War' had earned $1.2 million during six weeks in 35 screens of six cities in the U.S on Sep. last year, the U.S. entertainment business circles' expectation about cinema 'Oldboy' is peculiar.
