'The Chaser' to be remade in Hollywood… sold for a million dollars

The movie "The Chaser" is to be remade in Hollywood.

The producing company of "The Chaser" and Fine Cut, in charge of foreign sales, revealed on the 6th, "We've concluded agreements with Hollywood's major studio, Warner Brothers Entertainment, for the remake copyright for a million dollars".

They've also reached terms to allot earnings from America's box office. Also, representative Kim Soo-jin from the producing company will have his name on the credits as a co-producer.

Also, Warner Brothers are pushing toward agreements with American producers and writers. And when they reach agreements, they are planning to make an official announcement.

"The Chaser" has also been sold to the European film market, including France, Hong Kong, Greece, and four other countries.

"The Chaser" reached 3 million viewers on the 4th, twenty days after the premiere on February 14.
