MBC mini series 90 Days, Falling in Love Days, a.k.a. 90 Days, Time to Love, is one of the most touching dramas of 2006, presenting a forbidden romance that begins as life ends. Film and television star Kim Ha Neul and Kang Ji Hwan (Be Strong, Geum Soon) portray star-crossed lovers who find the courage to face their relationship only when time is running out. The drama is written by Park Hae Young (Old Miss Diary) and directed by veteran Oh Jong Rok, who helped put Kim Ha Neul's name on the map with dramas Piano and Happy Together.

Every life comes with a deadline, and for Ji Seuk (Kang Ji Hwan), it's 90 days. Diagnosed with terminal cancer, he only has three months left to live, and all he wants now is to be with his true love, the love he had to give up. He leaves his wife Jung Ran (Jung Hye Young, Lawyers) to find his cousin Mi Yeon (Kim Ha Neul), who is also married. Ji Seuk and Mi Yeon share a deep bond that goes back many years, but they have kept their feelings hidden and gone their separate ways in life, knowing that it is not possible to be together. But with only 90 days left, Ji Seuk cannot turn away from his heart any longer. His last wish is to spend his final days with Mi Yeon, even if it brings pain to their families, even if it's unforgivable.

고3인 지석은 바로 코앞에 앉아서 이어폰 끼고 덤덤히 책을 보고 있는 미연을 보자, 신나는 기운이 꺾이고 이상하게 기죽는다. 그리고 조용히 자리에 앉아 미연을 힐끗거린다. 지석은 미연에게 관심을 갖고 다가서려하지만 좀처럼 기회는 오지않고 자전거가 고장난 지석은 버스를 타게 되는데.. 이미 서로의 감정이 싹터만 가고 있었다. 미연할머니가 돌아가시고 아버지 손에 이끌려 찾아간곳은 바로 미연이네집 - 서로가 절름발이 사촌이었던것이다. 결국 지석 아버지는 서울로 이사를 가기로 하고 지석과 미연은 기약없는 이별을 하게되는데...
