KBS drama A Happy Woman, a.k.a. Blissful Woman, has been steadily gaining viewership in Korea, topping the charts with ratings in the high 20s. Directed by Kim Jong Chang (My Rosy Life, Terms of Endearment), this romance stars Yoon Jung Hee (My God) as titular "happy woman" Lee Ji Yeon, a designer with a cheerful personality. She gets into a love triangle with two men played by Kim Suk Hoon (Tomato) and Jeong In Mae. The drama explores what happiness means for a woman.

As for the Happy Woman soundtrack, Park Wan Kyu sings the theme song "If You Are" (Track 2), his vocals melding with the 45-person orchestral accompaniment for a very memorable track. Kang Jong Wook, famous for the hit song "Weak Man", sings the equally ear-pleasing "Foolish Love" (Track 4). The 18-track album also includes songs from Yoo Seung Chan, Kim Ki Ha, and Moon Jung Hee.

시청률 40%를 넘긴 '장밋빛인생' ' 애정의조건' '노란손수건' 의 연출가 김종창 감독과 강동윤 음악감독의 4번째 합작품 ' 행복한 여자' 의 O.S.T 가 출시되었다. 주말의 방송중 부동의 1위를 지키고 있는 '행복한 여자'는 진정한 가족의 의미란 무엇인가란 주제속에 '윤정희' '김석훈' '정겨운' 등을 내세워 시청자들을 사로잡고 있다.

전작에서 보여줬듯이 화려하면서 세려된 45인조 프라하 오케스트라와 '천년의 사랑' 으로 국민의 사랑을 받은 '박완규'의 컴백으로도 많은 화제를 낳고있다. 행복한 여자의 타이틀곡 '그대가 있는 한'은 절제되면서도 호소력있는 최고의 가창력 '박완규'의 음색이 잘 묻어나있는곡으로서 프라하 오케스트라의 깊이있는 연주가 보컬과 함께 곡의 느낌을 극대화 시켜주고있다. 또한 '약한남자'로 올해 최고의 신인으로 인정받고 있는 간종욱의 '못난사랑' 역시 신인답지않은 테크닉과 호소력 짙은 가창력으로 앨범의 완성도를 높여주고 있다. 강동윤 음악감독의 작품이 항상 그렇듯 이번에도 신뢰감을 갖고 들을 수 있는 수작임에는 틀림없다.

드리마 "행복한여자"는 다양한 가족형태가 나타나고있는 현실과는 달리, 아직도 우리 사회는 가족의 형태에 대한 편견이 살아있다. 전형적인 가족의 형태를 갖추고있지 않으면 `결손가정` 이라는 편협된 시각이 바로 그것이다. 그러나 결손가정의 잣대는 `가족의 구성원`이 아니라 `사랑`이다. 이 드라마를 통해 우리시대 변화되고있는 가족의 형태와 가족의 진정한 의미를 재조명해보는 동시에, 여자에게 있어서 `진정한 행복`이란 무엇인지 진지하게 접근해 보고자 하는데 의미가 있다. 시청률은 20%대 후반을 계속달리고 있으며 30%을 상회 하면서 엄청난 반응을 보이고 있다. "하늘이시어"에서 폭발적인 사랑을 받은 `윤정희`를 비롯해, `김석훈`, `정겨운`까지 배우진도 매우 탄탄하다. 이미 시청자들에게 검증 받은 작품이니 만큼 O.S.T도 엄청난 반응이 기대되는 작품으로 태어났다.
