Pop sensation Rain, star of Full House returns to the small screen in A Love To Kill, an uncompromising drama about tough guys and tough love. This drama earned Kim Gyu Tae the 2005 Baeksang Award for "Best New Producer of a TV Drama".
Rain plays Bok Ku, an orphan who has sworn to spend the rest of his life with his childhood friend Han Da Jung (Kim Sa Rang), to repay her for saving his life many years previously. However, much against his will, Bok Ku falls in love with his own brother's ex-girlfriend. Her name is Cha Eun Suk (Shin Min Ah) and she is a famous actress. Bok Ku secretly blames her for his brother's accident that has now left him in a coma. He wrongly believes that she betrayed him and swears revenge. Bok Ku gets a job working as her bodyguard so that he can be close by, and inadvertently falls for her.
Eun Suk, however, is stuck in an engagement against her will. Kim Jun Sung (Lee Ki Woo), heir to a huge family conglomerate - The Hankuk Group - is caught with Eun Suk, and so to avoid a scandal that could damage his family and his company, the couple are forced to get engaged.

| This is my favorite drama of all time!! The songs and music throughout the movie is soo incredible and heartbreaking. The story is'nt too draggy and it's really sweet and sad and so so good. Shin Min-Ah and Rain are so so talented. i really didnt expect Rain to be so good at acting. And Shin Min-Ah(like always) was very very good at acting too! They were just so perfect together! the scenes were very touching and sad and i really really connected and felt bad for the characters. The story is great, again and the actors are incredible, even the supporting ones. I just love love love this drama sooo sooo much!! The soundtrack is so great.i bought the soundtrack too and even now when i listen to it i feel my insides burn up with tears. it's just beautiful. the only regret i'd have is the dissapointing and stupid ending. but that shouldnt stop you from watching this. it's just almost perfect. trust me. the music really helps.=DD |

Rain is a must see...
| I did not hear great things about this drama as well but didnt' care, I wanted to watch it anyway because I'm a big fan of Rain's - as an actor, singer & dancer... he's got it all... I have to say he did not disappoint ... His role in this series couldn't be more opposite of his role in Full House which proves he is a versatile actor & obviously can act. I think this series got lukewarm review is because it's not an upbeat movie... tho the beginning did drag a little but it's not long before it starts to pick up and then you can't stop watching b/c you can't wait to see what's going to happen next between them... Overall, Rain & Shin Min A did a great job and I enjoyed watching how their love developed & deepened despite all obstacles & misunderstandings... also, another reason why I love this series, the music is excellent, the lyrics are moving & will have you crying along with them... now go watch it! ^-^ |

A Love To Kill - The Director'
| Rain is a great actor indeed! I've seen all his dramas, each of it's own character. As in A Love to kill, it's a pity that the screenwriter finishes off the story in such an anti-climax way, especially on the coversations for some of the scenes at the end, when the couple spend a crazy day together. However, I must say that Rain and Shin Min-Ah seems to click pretty well, and I love the songs and the music, they were great. |

I finished watching this drama on TV 3 weeks ago. oh my... I love this drama! The actors really played their roles well. I read before that this drama had mediocre ratings so I was kind of interested if it's really that "bad". BUT oh no, this drama has exceeded my expectations! "It's not a sit back and relax kind of drama. It's stimulating." ~ xiao hei *my friend* |

Rain & Shin Min-Ah !! >_<

These two actors have been some of my favorite actors. Especially Rain, i bought this becuz it is his new release and i am a big fan. Though...the series was a little slow in the beggining, the story started to build little my little! I loved all of it. It was very touching and sad. Shin Min-Ah is a beautiful actress..omg so pretty! and she played her role good. I was expecting her to turn her back on rain..after what he did..but love proceeds!! yay! I still find Rain's performance in Full House was much better...but this is also another hit. A triple threat right? Anyways i reccomend this tv series to anyone who is a Shin Min-ah and bi fan! I enjoyed the action mixed with a love story. !! 100 out of 10 !! if i could! love love love! ps. the only part that really bothered me..was the way the brother acted. It was very disturbing...as in..it was sooo sad...omg it hurt me to watch him..but also disturbed me when he hurt shin min-ah when they were staying at that house?...omg..but to play that role must've been hard! so 10/10 performance!! |
