A Witch in Love OST (SBS TV Series)

Han Ga In is probably the farthest thing from a witch in the eyes of K-drama fans, but she has slipped into her title role in new SBS drama A Witch in Love (a.k.a. Witch Amusement) with perfect ease. A far cry from her timid, endearing character in Super Rookie, Han Ga In's new role Yoo Hee is an aloof, assertive advertising executive whose strong personality and successful career translates to an equally unsuccessful love life. The task of melting Yoo Hee's cold exterior falls into the hands of a very photogenic line-up of actors: Jae Hee (3-iron), Kim Jung Hoon (Palace), and Dennis Oh (Sweet Spy). With My Girl director Jun Ki Sang at the helm, it's easy to fall in love with this moody romantic drama and its beguiling witch.

Setting the tone for A Witch in Love and its excellent soundtrack is MC Jinri's bopping theme song "Fate's Game" (Track 1), which fuses Beethoven's Fifth Symphony with rap and R&B, and features guest vocals from HaHa. Singer/actress Jeon Hye Bin, who plays Jae Hee's loyal girlfriend in the drama, contributes If (Track 2), a jazzy mid-tempo track that perfectly complements the atmosphere of the drama. Some familiar names from the My Girl soundtrack make appearances here as well, such as Tree Bicycle with "Disappearance of Anger" (Track 3) and Jo Kwan Woo with Day By Day (Track 4). Other songs on the track list include Lee Sung Wook's Destiny (Track 6), Kim Yoo Kyung's Memories (Track 8), and Na Chang Hyun's "Therefore" (Track 9).

마녀가 꿈꾸는 사랑, 그 맛있는 이야기. 드라마 [마녀유희] OST

영원한 만인의 연인 '한가인(마유희 역)', 카리스마 배우 '재희(채무룡 역)', 귀공자 '데니스 오(조니 크루거 역)', '김정훈(유준하 역)', '전혜빈(남승미 역)' 등 막강한 별들이 모인 SBS 드라마 '마녀유희'는 '보디가드', '쾌걸 춘향', '마이글' 등의 인기드라마를 매년 꾸준히 연출해온 히트메이커 전기상 감독이 연출을 맡았다.

마녀유희 OST 는 2006년 OST 붐을 일으켰던 드라마 '마이걸' OST의 제작을 맡았던 오준성의 작품들로 구성되어 있다. 베토벤 교향곡 5번 '운명'을 드라마 전체의 클래식 테마로 삼았고, 이를 힙합으로 변주해서 만든 경쾌한 넘버 '운명의 장난'은 메인 테마곡으로, MC진리가 부르고 '하하'가 피쳐링을해 화제를 모으고 있다. 또한 라틴재즈 스타일의 노래 'If'를, 드라마에서 배우로 열연중인 전혜빈이 감미롭게 소화해 내 관심을 끌고 있다.

이외에도 '나무자전거'가 러브테마인 '그게 말이죠'를 불렀고, 가수 '조관우'가 발라드에서 라틴팝으로 변신을 시도하여 'Day by Day'를 불렀다. 순순하고 깨끗한 목소리를 찾기 위해 수 많은 오디션을 거쳐 약 500:1의 경쟁률을 뚫고 발탁된 신성, 고 1소녀 'Ashily'가 상큼한 봄날을 연상시키는 마유희 테마 '사랑아 내게 오기만해'를 불렀다. 그룹 '부활'의 전 싱어 '이성욱'이 노래한 채무룡 테마 'Destiny', 나창현의 '그래', 연우의 '사랑은 어려워' 등이 수록되어있다.

마녀유희 OST는 기존 드라마 OST와는 달리, 드라마와 공동으로 진행되는 각종 이벤트를 통해 큰 관심을 끌 것으로 기대된다.
