Actress Kim Bo-kyeong will tie the knot sometime this year with a businessman who is one year younger than she.
The entertainer told the local media on Jan. 30 that she met her current boyfriend through a mutual friend in August 2008. Both are Christian and their faith is thought to be the common denominator that brought them together.
"Despite him being a year younger than me, I don't feel like he is younger than me", Kim said. "He is my rock, a friend that I can depend and lean on. For the first time in my life, I was 100 percent sure that he was the one.
"We've already planned the wedding and talked to our parents, although the date for the big day has not yet been set".
Kim said, however, that she hopes to get married this year and wants to be able to announce the good news to her fans sometime soon.
Kim made her debut in 2001 in the movie "Friend", and rose to fame with roles in hit dramas such as MBC's "White Tower" (2007) and "Spotlight" (2008).
