With Korean drama "All In"s encore broadcasting in Macedonia as a momentum, Arirang International Broadcasting is going to make inroads into the TV audience in East Europe.
"All In" starring Lee Byeong-Heon and Song Hye-kyo, which Arirang International Broadcasting distributed to East Europe, untapped territory of Korean broadcasting program, is scheduled to be aired again from August by the request of Macedonia TV, a ground-wave broadcasting station in Macedonia.
Thanks to "All In"s popularity, whose encore broadcasting was decided in Macedonia, Arirang International Broadcasting intends to air "All In" in Romania on September and is coming into contact with Croatia as well as Serbia-Montenegro ground-wave TV to air this program in these countries.
Besides East Europe, Arirang International Broadcasting which completed its program market survey in Central & South America, plans to air Korean drama 'Stairways of the Heaven' in Central & South America such as Peru and Colombia.
An official involved in "All In"s oversea distribution at Arirang International Broadcasting said: "He believes providing the TV audience in East Europe and Central & South America gets familiar with Korean dramas, full-scale demand for Korean drama will be linked to sales request", explaining that the broadcasting station is offering these countries Korean dramas with free-of-charge televising or a moderate price to capture East Europe market.
