In Jang Hyun Soo's gripping thriller the many-faceted actor that starred in big screen hits like Musa The Warrior and A Moment to Remember portrays the orphan Kil who is gradually pushed into a career as killer after his single-parent mother decides to commit suicide. Working as an assassin for a deadly underworld syndicate with Mr. Yoon (Kim Hak Chul) that serves as a link between the two parties, Kil seems to be pre-destined to spend the rest of his life as killer for hire. The only person that is able to offer him some kind of comfort is the bar waitress Soo-ha (Shim Eun Ha from Christmas in August that performs some touching songs in the film) whom he accidentally encounters. On a fateful day the girl collapses on the street and is discovered by Kil who sees no other alternative but to take her to his home - his decision leads to drastic changes for both of them.
