The epic K-Drama Emperor of the Sea concludes with Vol. 3, collecting last episodes 35-50 of the blockbuster completed series!

Based on the life of a true historical figure, Emperor of the Sea is an epic Korean Drama based on a novel by author Choi In Ho. Choi Soo Jong stars as Jang Bo Go, who rises from a lowly slave to the military commander of the sea during the Unified Shilla Dynasty (676~935). Along the way, he battles pirates, and engages in a heated rivalry with Madam Jami (Chae Si Ra), a Shilla noble who squares off against Jang Bo Go for trade rights in the South Sea. Song Il Kuk, winner of the 2002 KBS New Actor award, is Yeomjang, Jang Bo Go's charismatic comrade, who supports Jang in his ascension to The Emperor of the Sea. But Yeomjang competes with Jang for the love of Jeong-hwa (Soo-ae)...

Emperor of the Sea is an epic television series in every sense of the word. Besides totaling 50 episodes, the series possesses a budget of 15 billion won, and features many stunning sets and locations. The battle sequences are given epic scope, and computer graphics are used to enhance their scale. But the ultimate focus of Emperor of the Sea is on a single man, Jang Bo Go, and the realization of his destiny: to control the East Asian Sea!

    This was the first korean movie that I saw and I fell in love with this movie. I fell in love with choi su jung the moment I saw him. He's my favorite korean actor in this whole world He was great the entire cast was great. This movie had a lot of action and it make you cry so much your heart ache. The villians was great also especially Yeom Yang Tbecause he last couple of episodes was sad that is the part that made you cry the most.This is a movie that you can watch over and over and over again. I had to buy this movie because i loved it so much. They had so many georgeous actors in there you did know who you want to be your favorite. Unfortunately for me my favorite is choi su jung who play jang bo go buy this movie you won't regret it you will be so happy knowing that you have this movie in your library because it is not an easy movie to get.

    Emperor of the Sea is absolutely the best series I have ever encountered. The OST was superb! The story was brilliant!
    The actors all deserve Emmy awards! My favorite actor was the evil Madam Jami, she had so many facial expressions for every type of scenario, and her wardrobe& hairstyles were outrageous but interesting.

    I am from turkey and my life has changed with this drama and ı want it with turkish subtitle or turkish dubbing but it is impossible says the publisher.then ı want this english subtitle dama please print this drama again and the other vols of it.ı beg you

    Story about struggle and becoming successful..just like corporate and business life. Never give up. Although along story, it shows how greed, cunning personality and trust , including love, can affect the world around us. Good for business people and corporate junkies...watch this.

    I have been watching this from the very beginning I like it I even plan to buy the whole episode but the last 2 episode was a mess. I wasted my time waiting for a good ending.
