Whoa... this movie is fantastic. Taken in 4 country, including Korea, of course. What a series!!! I enjoyed every minute of it. Kudos for Cha Tae Hyun. He should do more drama with english subtitles. Always makes me laugh and cry at the same time. This is a series you should not miss. Kim Nam Jin is equally sexy in this film. Suits his character...very serious. In every drama, i've seen him, he is always serious. Wish i could see him in a comedy movie or drama. |

Decent

The first few episodes of the movie started out good. With the main female character (Yoo-Bin) showing some sass vs the "royal prince" Gun Hee Choi(Cha Tae Hyun) But, as the the movie near the end really got irritatingly stupid. There was no chemistry between Gun Hee and Yoo Bin, yet somehow, she managed to fall in love with him? I don't know, but I think in most countries, if a guy left you out in the middle of the ocean, that's not endearing. The good parts of the movie are the scenary, definitely beautiful, some pretty good acting from all parts. Too bad the story line took a really stupid twist halfway through the movie, it ruined the whole movie. Unless, the director is trying to say that it's better for a woman to love a man who teases and belittles her, has done nothing in his live but live as a spoiled brat vs a man who does nothing but respect and take care of her and leads a good life by working hard and taking care of his mom. I don't know..that's not my style. After episode 17, I had to stop watching because the drama became so annoyingly stupid. |

Fantastic movie
|
I think the director of this movie chose the right guy as a royal prince. I like all the characters in this movie. I mean all of them are placed in the right sport. Choi, Gun-Hee, a guy who was born and was growing up in the rich family, he has everything, the world that he lives in surrounded by rich people. But this guy (Choi, Gun-Hee) lacks of warm relationship, especially family relationship. He (Choi, Gun-Hee) afraid his father so much and he has to follow every role that his father put. Actually, in the movie Choi, Gun-Hee is the poorest character. He looks stupid in most intelligence guys mind, he looks fat, he is lazy, and he knows nothing about business, many more. Could you imagine if you live with the father who very busy with business and not often care about son and he let you go to study over sea and the father that often use the word you have to do this, you must do it. How do you feel? This is why Choi, Gun-Hee becomes like this. He doesnt have mother, especially. What about Cha, Seung-Hyun, he looks perfect in everything. I can say everything. He is handsome, an intelligence, rich, polite and many more. Who doesnt like him? Nobody. He was growing up in warm family, however he live with single mother. His mother gives him the decision, listen to him, and make him listen to her and he respect her. Could you see how different between two children who one live with father and the other one lived with mother? I think because he (Cha, Seung-Hyun) is already perfect in everything, this is why he couldnt become a main character. Mostly, a main character is not perfect in everything. This is true, so the girl (Kim Yoo-Bin) in the movie chose the right decision. She chooses Gun-Hee besides choosing Seung-Hyun. Because she is the one who can change Gun-Hees characteristic from bad to good. I like that kind of movie. It is very interesting movie. I also recommend you to watch Funny Girl it is also good movie. |

Beautiful Resorts, Good Storyline, Great Actors &
|
This TV drama is talking about Choi Gun Hee (acted by Cha Tae Hyun) and Cha Sung Hyun (acted by Kim Nam-jin) whom both fell in love with the same woman named Kim You Bin (acted by Sung Yu-ri) and how You Bin has to decide who she will pick as the life partner at the end. The story took place in beautiful resorts in Hokkaido, Bali Island, Tahiti and Korea. I like how the story of the main characters developed from the beginning towards the end. It's very well thought. Lots of funny, happy moments and also some sad one. The actors & actres are great in bringing their characters to life. I think the directors picks the right actors for each characters. I like the ending too. It's very logical & practical moral lesson: 'you will harvest what you had sowed'. At some part of the movie, the story flows a little bit too slow than I expect it should be. Otherwise, excellent movie to watch as it's very entertaining in general. The only thing that I don't like in this Malaysian VCD version is because I can't switch between Chinese & the Malay subtitle nor switch it off completely. I find it the subtitles' location are sometime a bit annoying. Probably the DVD (Taiwan version) will be better because it's a DVD format? As everyone has different set of values to judge the same thing.... I think it's better to watch it yourself & decide whether it's good or not. So, I hope you enjoy the movie. (^_^) |
