Lee Shin-young (Lee Mi-yeon) who is filed under the case #2234 has received the death penalty for the murder of her husband, but doesn't make any attempts to defend herself. She is peaceful, like a person waiting for death.

Suh Jun-ha (Park Shin-yang) is a lawyer with a bright future ahead of him. Just before he goes to go study abroad, he is suddenly appointed as court attorney of Lee Shin-young. Her attitude differs from other defendants.

Because "Indian Summer" carries the elements of traditional films, its dramatic structure stands out above all. This differentiates the movie from more recent melodramas that try to integrate different genres or those that have the tendency to rely on emotional details.

It is my first review at yesasia.com and Indian Summer was my first film to know this actress, Lee Mi Yeon. Her performance is very subtle but unforgettable too. She portrays this Shin-Young whom was charged with murder for her husband. I felt sad for her desperation and loneliness. But pls don't misunderstand this is a typical melodrama which I don't enjoy neither.

Mr. Park is totally different here from what I've seen him in Hi Dharma where he was funny and bossy. He is the role model of justice should be served. He unconditionally tried to defend her and he never quits.

Since I don't want to spoil the potential viewers, all I can say is I like unexpected ending...

I can't say I like this film at all. There are a few little bits which were nice and the male lead did well. However the female lead is very annoying and cannot achieve any sympathy from the viewers. The ending is rubbish.

This movie was very graphic with blood scenes and the ending was horrible. If it had ended realistically I would have really enjoyed this movie. However, it just was unterly retarded. I couldn't sleep all night after watching it because of the blood and the ending. As far as the acting, music, and scenery it was very well done. In fact, the acting was superb.

Get this movie if you like drama/love story. There are some bloody scenes but overall it's a good movie to watch.
