Kong Hyeon-joo Recognized in Chinese Portal

Model and actress Kong Hyeon-joo has been recognized as the "Korean queen of commercial advertisement models" by China's largest portal site.

On July 20, Sina.com posted a special feature article on Kong on its front page, which drew great attention from Chinese netizens.

The portal said that Kong has worked with many top Korean actors such as Bae Yong-joon, Kwon Sang-woo, Jeong Woo-seong and Jo Seung-woo, and even gained popularity in Japan due to a commercial in which she appeared with Japan's "favorite son-in-law", Bae.

The site said that Kong possesses an elegant image and various charms to explain the increasing interest in her in Asia.
