Biography
Born in 1970. CHOI was an assistant director for Whispering Corridors (1998), which was the first episode of the horror film series, Yeogo Gwae-dam. (VOICE is the fourth episode of Yeogo Gwae-dam.) Although this is his debut film as a director, he's been active in the field beyond the boundaries of commercial films, art films, and experimental films. CHOI majored in linguistics at Seoul National University and graduated from the Korean Academy of Film Arts. He also studied at the San Francisco Art Institute, earning an MFA in Filmmaking (2002).Source Open the link
