Top Stars to Attend Paris Hilton's Benefit Party

Top Korean celebrities will attend a charity party held by the visiting pop heiress Paris Hilton.

Jeong Woo-seong, Jo In-seong, Lee Jeong-jae, Lee Dong-geon, Ok Joo-hyeon, Jo Yeo-jeong and the female band LPG will attend the party held Friday 9 pm at the Cheongdamdong club 'The Circle'.

Some 20 celebrities and 50 models received the invitation. A portion of the party's proceeds will be used to help Korean heart disease patients.

The event's host The Circle said that "all celebrities invited have confirmed their attendence".

Meanwhile the female band LPG, which was in Cambodia this week as PR envoys for the NGO Save the Children, has returned home and resumed activities. They are nominated for best female band for the MNET-KM Music Festival opening Nov. 17....| More

Singer Son Ho-young to Go Sol

Singer Son Ho-young, a member of the male group G.O.D., will go solo through a showcase concert on September 12.

Son will present some songs from his solo debut album, including "I Cry" and "Yes", at the concert, which will be held at the Seoul Fashion Art Hall in Dongdaemun, Seoul. The title song "I Cry", a lyric ballad, highlights the powerful voice of Son, who can sing three octaves. The medium-tempo funky style "Yes" is a dance song with a pounding beat.

Son has reportedly abandoned his old singing style which he used for the last seven years during his G.O.D. days, and acquired a totally new style for the solo album.

Son said, "I'm more nervous than when I debuted as a member of G.O.D. I'm afraid of presenting a performance alone without the other members. But I will show fans everything I have as a musician at the concert".

Kim Ei-ji of Group BabyV.O.X Seeks Role as Actress

Kim Ei-ji, a member of the female music group BabyV.O.X, will leave the group and focus on her career as an actress.

An official from her new agency said on Jan. 25, "We have signed a management contract with Kim Ei-ji recently. She will focus on acting for films and TV in the future". This agency also maintains contracts with actresses Hwang In-yeong, Jo Yeo-jeong, Lee Yeong-eun, and Oh Se-jeong. Kim once acted in KBS TV2's miniseries "Beijing, My Love", which aired in 2004.

It has now become nearly impossible for BabyV.O.X to continue their activities, as Kim has broken away from the group following Shim Eun-jin and Yoon Eun-hye.

"It is true that Kim Eiji has changed her management agencies, but it's not appropriate to say BabyV.O.X will be disbanded. We are now discussing if the group should continue working by replenishing it with new members", said an official from BabyV.O.X's agency, DR Music....| More
