A brand new musical entitled "The Return of the High School Fellows" will be staged at the Centennial Hall of Ewha Women's University from November 4 to January 4. The musical is based on a popular 1970s high-teen film entitled "High School Fellows" which portrays school life in the '70s as well as the social and cultural trends of that time.
Actors Lee Seung-hyeon and Kim Jeong-hoon, who starred in the film version, are now middle-aged men who reunite with their old high school friends and reminisce about the days gone by. Memories of black school uniforms, crew cut hair, military drill uniforms, hanging out at local bakeries, flared jeans and guitars, friendships and first loves come to life.
Audience members will also be able to enjoy a wide array of 1970s K-pop hits, including Jung Soo-ra's "Joy", Lee Ji-yeon's "I Still Don't Know What Love Is", Lee Mun-seh's "Sunset Glow", Five Fingers' "Balloon" and Jun Young-rok's "Paper Crane"....| More
