 Kim Jeong-hwa, who was the last to join the cast of MBC "When It's At Night", revealed that she decided to join because of her loyalty to Kim Seon-ah and Director Son Hyeong-seok.
She joined filming late last month. She said, "It was very last-minute, but I took it positively, and looking over the synopsis, I realized the character was fun".
Kim Jeong-hwa has always showed her close relationship with Kim Seon-ah, and she has worked with Director Son on the cable drama "The Devil that Drinks Wine".
Kim Jeong-hwa plays sly Wang Joo-hyeon, who enters the cultural bureau with the thought of finding a potential husband who will succeed as a high government official. She and Kim Seon-ah compete for Lee Dong-geon. Lee Soo-kyeong and Park Ji-yoon were cast in this role but did not go through with it.

 KBS 2TV has produced a unique drama in which four short one-act dramas come together under one common theme. Actress Kim Jeong-hwa will take on the role of the heroine of the four different love stories.
The drama, entitled 'Things We Do That We Know We Will Regret' will be aired from April 12 to May 3. The drama is made up of four different kinds of love the heroine goes through. Each love story is a one-act drama in the four-part series.
Management company Sidus HQ said Kim will star in the drama as In-ah, who goes through a fairytale first love in her 20s and goes on to experience different kinds of love in her 30s and beyond. As the film industry is, and probably always will be, the musical industry has become a huge magnet for young wannabe entertainers. From K-pop stars such as Ok Koo-hyun ("Aida") and Kim Tae-woo ("Altar Boyz") to film and television actors like Kim Jeong-hwa ("Mitbadageseo"), increasing numbers of star entertainers are seeking to boast their versatility through the genre.
Thanks largely to their popularity, musical dramas starring them have always been successes. It, however, doesn't mean that everyone involved is happy, nor is it good for the industry in the long run.
