Directed by Kwon Hyeong-jin, the film is a human drama about a piano teacher and orphaned boy who is a music prodigy.
Kim Ji-su (played by Uhm Jung-hwa), is a 30- year-old single woman who used to dream about becoming a world-class pianist but ends up opening a small neighborhood piano school on the outskirts of Seoul.
She meets a boy named Kyung-min (Sin Ee-jae), who shows off and pesters her for no apparent reason. He is a headache at first, but after she discovers his great musical talent, her goal becomes to turn him into a renowned pianist like Vladimir Horowitz.
However, what she really wants to achieve is to gain the reputation of being a great piano teacher, which will mean success for her small piano school.
