Kim Yoo-jeong, who is called the troika of child stars with Seo Sin-ae and Kim Hyeong-ki, is the new talent of 2008.

Kim Yoo-jeong is more active this year, and she played Mi-jin's missing daughter Eun-ji in the movie "The Chaser", which had over 5 million viewers. She understood her mom's sadness and pain. She also pulled viewers' heartstrings as Yoon-ah in MBC "New Heart", which has been praised for opening new doors for medical dramas.

On a remote island in South Jeolla Province, a dozen students share a single classroom. Deprived of modern technology, they hardly know the difference between a bicycle and a pair of glasses. As they see it, both have two circles, and that's that.

"Unforgettable" (Seoul-i boinya), directed by debut filmmaker Song Dong-yoon, brings back memories of pre-modern day Korea when islanders used to get by with a handful of basic tools, and rarely got out of their hometown.

Director Song, fortunately, has not fallen into the trap of stirring up romantic nostalgia. Instead, he employs a story-within-a-story structure, focusing on timeless educational issues such as what makes a good teacher and what is really needed for adventure-seeking students.

Kyu Hyun Kim (qhyunkim)

The second installment in the You Il-han and Ahn Byeong-ki team-up horror series concerns a young working mother Min-young (Kim Seo-hyeong, the victimized teacher in "Voice Letter"), who moves into an "office-tel" room (a studio flat that doubles as a workplace) with a kindergarten-age daughter (Kim Yoo-jeong). Of course, the office-tel turns out to be spooked by the spirit of another young mother, whose attacks are responsible for a series of mysterious deaths. Soon it is uncovered that the building originally had another floor (the "fourth floor", which, like the thirteenth floor in the West, is considered bad luck and usually absent in Korean buildings). When the vengeful spirit seeks to possess Min-young's daughter, she decides to uncover the sordid past of the office-tel building.

Horror. Directed by Kwon Il-soon. Minyoung (Kim Seo-hyeong) moves into a new apartment complex which doesn't have a fourth floor with her 6-year-old daughter Ju-hee (Kim Yoo-jeong). Min-young notices something strange about the apartment - her neighbors complain about a noise and die for no apparent reason. Strange things happen to her neighbors and eventually to her daughter - Ju-hee becomes sick and starts acting strange. Min-young thinks there's definitely something wrong with the apartment and starts to look into the secret behind all the strange happenings....
