Musicians Lee Hyeon-woo, Lee Juck, and Lena Park pull together the 'Taean Project Group' and prepare an album to aid in the Taean oil spill. The album sales will be donated to support cleanup efforts in Taean.

The album was organized by Lee Hyeon-woo, who has been an active member of the Korean Federation for Environmental Movement (KFEM) for several years. After visiting Taean to lend a helping hand, Lee began working with KFEM and other singers on the "Support Taean" album. Further details will be released at an upcoming press conference.

The album contains songs about the heart-aching reality of the oil spill's effect on Taean and its citizens. Besides Lee Hyeon-woo, Lee Juck, and Lena Park, singers of all ages and genres helped with the album, including JK Kim Dong-wook, Lee Han-chul, Woong San, and Yang Dong-geun....

Lee Hye-young is as busy as a bee in spring.
Apart from her primary job as an actress, she attends business meetings, settles accounts and appears on home-shopping television channels to promote fashion products.
Lee, 37, launched her own fashion brand, Missing Dorothy, in 2004 because of her interest in fashion.
The line reached 40 billion won ($42.3 million) in sales last year.
Lee is just one of many celebrities who have a side job.
Numberous well-known actors have their own fashion labels, including Uhm Jung-hwa "Zuhm in New York", Hwang Sin-hye "Elypry", Byeon Jeong-soo "Ella Hoya Secret", Hyeon Yeong "Vivacella", So Yoo-jin "Silver Apple" and Chae Yeon "Cycloset".

"Professionally, entertainers have lots of contact with the fashion industry", said Baek Eun-sook, a public relations official of Missing Dorothy.
Lee first launched a clothing line in 2004 and it quickly became popular.

As B-boys have come to the fore, a growing number of people want to learn break dance. But many give up after realizing the brutal effort hidden behind the glamorous facade. The popularity of B-boys today is greater than in the past but their lives are still difficult. Perception has changed but the social prejudice classifying them as no more than delinquent teens is not easy to change. The first performance that brought street dance to the theater was the musical "The Ballerina who Loved a B-Boy". The popular show has been running since the world's first 'b-boy theater' opened near Hongik University in Seoul late last year. At the center of the hit performance is Popin Hyeon-joon, a solo artist as well as the leader of the performance group Gorilla Dance Factory. Tens and thousands of fans are members of his online fan club. The star b-boy has especially gained more recognition since appearing in the Korean drama 'Over the Rainbow.

Creating a new catch phrase "moviecal boom" in the country's entertainment industry, a number of musicals based on hit movies will be staged in the coming months. Smash-hit Korean movies, including "200 Pounds Beauty", "Singles", "Love So Divine", "My Love My Bride" and "The Parade of the Youth", are a few examples among many moviecals already announced for a rebirth on stage. The moviecal boom doesn't stop there. Older hit movies like "The Gingko Bed" (1995), which starred Han Seok-kyu and Shim Hye-jin, "The Harmonium In My Memory" (1999), featuring Lee Byeong-heon and Jeon Do-yeon, winner of this year's Canne Film Festival, and internationally acclaimed director Im Kwon-taek's "The General's Son (1990)" are also to be staged next year.

The pop singer Lee Hyeon-woo and the jazz pianist Kim Gwang-min have many things in common. They are both single, known for their love of alcoholic drinks, their disdain for marriage and their passion for music. The two are fondly remembered as the hosts of the MBC-TV show "Wednesday Art Stage".
The show ended three years ago after eight years, yet it has not faded from people's memories because of its strong live performances and the entertaining presence of the two M.C.s. Even after the show ended, the two men remained good friends and supportive critics of each other's music.
