"East of Eden", Song Seung-heon, Lee Da-hae, and Yeon Jeong-hoon confirmed cast

Actor Yeon Jeong-hoon has decided on MBC drama "East of Eden" as his comeback work after being released from the army. His management company officially announced his participation in "East of Eden" following Song Seung-heon and Lee Da-hae.

His management company, J-Tune, revealed on the 4th that Yeon Jeong-hoon signed the contract and will start filming. There was as much interest for the cast as for the blockbuster that drew 25 billion won in investment.

When Yeon Jeong-hoon, who had been going back and forth about his participation, decided to sign, the filming officially began. Until now, they have been filming the younger actors for "East of Eden".

"East of Eden" is a story about the twisted fate and revenge of two men who were born in the same hospital. Yeon Jeong-hoon plays Dong-hoon, an attorney who must live his life with a backward fate. Photographers picked Ha Jeong-woo and Kim Hye-soo for having the most 'wonderful face'.

The movie entertainment weekly magazine Movie Week held its annual 'Wonderful Face 25', and the two were the top two males and females. It is Ha Jeong-woo's first time, and it is Kim Hye-soo's second time after 2006.

The order is determined by Korea's photographers and photo reporters, who see the stars' faces closest. Movie Week asked them to pick three males and three females who had a 'wonderful face for a subject for photography'.

This year, Jeong Ryeo-won was second, Jeon Do-yeon was third, Im Soo-jeong was fourth, and Kim Min-hee was fifth. Han Ye-seul, Kim Min-seon, Han Ji-min, Han Chae-young, Lee Yeon-hee, Bae Doona, Son Ye-jin, and Kim Tae-hee were also picked. RYOO Jang-ha's comeback stars YOO Ji-tae and LEE Yeon-hee

Director/writer RYOO Jang-ha makes his comeback after his 2004 "Springtime" (Kkotbineun Bomi Omyeon) featuring CHOI Min-sik, with the romantic drama Soonjeongmanwha (English translation: "pure comic strip") starring YOO Ji-tae and LEE Yeon-hee.

The film's about a thirty-year-old office employee and a female student who run into each other every morning at an elevator. Both are secretly in love with each other.

Filming commenced on the first day of April. The film is scheduled for a release in the fall. The romantic drama is produced by Let's Film.

YOO Ji-tae played CHOI Min-sik's character's nemesis in PARK Chan-wook's "Old Boy". He also starred in the period piece "Hwangjin-y - Movie - 2007" and HONG Sang-soo's "Woman is the Future of Man" (Yojaneun Namjaui Miraeda). In addition, YOO directs short films.
