Director Lee Yoon-jeong of "Coffee Prince" revealed information about her new drama "Triple" to come out at the end of the year.
Her next work is receiving much interest, for it will outline the lives and love of figure skaters. It's another experimental work following last year's "Coffee Prince", which showed the life of a barista.
The cast of "Triple" was especially anticipated, and Director Lee said, "We'll have a general outline by the end of May". Currently, Jeong Il-woo is to be the male lead, and the female lead is likely to be Min Hyo-rin.
Director Lee said, "It is true that Jeong Il-woo will be the male lead. He will be a short-track athlete, but the female lead hasn't been decided yet. It's true that Min Hyo-rin is a possibility, but it is still early to decide. It seems decisions will be made by the end of May".
Director Lee finished lecturing at Korea University's 2008 Press and Broadcasting Employment Presentation on the 13th and suggested at a new work.

Lee Jae-gyoo, Lee Yoon-jeong drama comeback
There is great interest for the works of star producers, which will be coming out at the end of this year.
They say dramas are works of the writers but the power of the producers is also noticeable. Either they work with famous writers such as Kim Su-hyun and Noh Hee-kyeong, or they excel in one genre, such as Director Lee Byeong-hoon of MBC "Yi San".
The first work is Director Lee Jae-gyoo's "Beethoven Virus".
This work, starring Kim Myeong-min and Lee Ji-ah, dreams of being the Korean "Nodame Cantabile". Director Lee has shown his skill through MBC "Damo" and SBS "Fashion 70s". For the past three years, he had been preparing various dramas but they did not work well and eventually chose "Beethoven Virus". Director Lee plans to tell the story of musicians who struggle after forming an orchestra.

"Coffee Prince", a feel-good series for stressed-out women. [MBC-TV]
Take three characters: First, a doctor who needs medical care after working too many night shifts. Second, an overworked office worker who recites "C'est la vie" 10 times a day because of her boss, whom she thinks might be a cockroach she stepped on in her former life. Third, a mother who is torn between love and hatred for her 9-month-old baby who cries all the time.
There are two things these three modern penitents have in common, despite their different environments and circumstances: One, they are my dearest friends in the world and two, their raison d'etre these days is watching "Coffee Prince" on MBC-TV every Monday and Tuesday night.

 The poster of the upcoming MBC miniseries 'Coffee Prince Shop No. 1' was revealed on the 25th.
The poster features Yoon Eun-hye as a complete pretty tomboy, contrasting to her bright girl image from MBC's 'Princess Hours'.
The series starring Gong Yoo, Yoon Eun-hye, Lee Seong-gyeon, Chae Jeong-an and others will draw the dreams and love stories in the setting 'Coffee Prince Shop No. 1'. The series will be directed by Lee Yoon-jeong who has become known for a realistic style.
