"A Moment to Remember", a film that stars Son Ye-Jin and Jeong Woo-Seong, had touched the hearts of 2.6 million viewers, letting them know that one can suffer from Alzheimer's Disease regardless of age. In this Christmas season, a drama on the same subject matter will be broadcast. This time, however, it will not be about a couple but a father and a daughter. Even sadder is that the two are not related by blood.

SBS will broadcast its Christmas special, the two-hour TV drama "My Love Clementine" (written by Park Beom-Soo and directed by Hong Chang-Wook), at 10:40 AM on Dec. 25.

Dal-Ho, who is in his thirties, and his wife decide to adopt a child due to their sterility. When Seok-Tae, Dal-Ho's friend, has an unwanted baby, Dal-Ho and his wife take the baby as their daughter on the condition that Seok-Ho would never look for her again.

My Captain Mr. Underground (2006)

Directed by Song Chang-soo and starring Jeong Jae-yeong, the film revolves around Kim Dae-chul (played by Jeong), who is a penniless, antisocial tomb raider. He steals a precious Buddhist statue from an archeological dig, but while trying to hide the statue in an underground location, Dae-chul meets with two odd little kids _ an orphan girl named Chi-min (Nam Ji-hyeon) and a vampire boy named Pyong-o (Kim Soo-ho). When the vampire boy steals the statue from its hiding place, Dae-chul pretends to be a secret agent in order to find the relic. One thing leads to another and the trio find themselves running from corrupt cops and gangsters. Dae-chul's tough guy demeanor begins to melt as he spends more time with the kids. Sentimental Plot Sinks "Mr. Underground"

Jeong Jae-yeong is probably best known for playing testosterone-driven, angst-filled soldiers in the recent hits "Silmido" and "Welcome to Dongmakgol". But he's also quite adept at breathing humanity into losers and oddballs from society's margins _ characters you wouldn't normally associate with the tough-looking actor.

Jeong's forays into the weird have had varying degrees of success. It worked great in the wonderfully off-kilter romantic comedy "Someone Special", while failing miserably in the aimless low-budget "So Cute".

Jeong's latest attempt at portraying the marginalized is the awkwardly titled "My Captain Mr. Underground". Set in Kyongju and its Silla Kingdom tombs, "Mr. Underground" is a combination of eccentric characters and sentimental plot devices. Unfortunately, these plot devices ultimately drag "Mr. Underground" down, and make the most eccentric characters seem painfully ordinary.
