The Baek Sang Awards took place on April, 24 at Main Hall Hae in Seoul.

Differing from last year's trend of dresses that showed off long legs, long dresses of faint or bright colors allowed each to have their own taste and charm shine.

"Frivolous Wife", the movie that Park Jeong-ah, leader of Jewelry, filmed two years ago will see the light. There is a rush of interest as Jewelry is receiving much popularity in the music industry.

The movie is about a frivolous daughter, who has a newly rich father, who marries the eldest grandson of the eldest son from a wealthy family. It tells the crazy story of her life as a wife.

Park Jeong-ah changes from a wild, college student into to the daughter-in-law of a rich family. The grandson is played by Park Jin-woo.

A representative from her company said, "The movie was finished two years ago, but we couldn't find the time to release it due to circumstances of the producing and distributing companies. Jewelry has been popular recently so we decided on its premiere".

Jewelry was very active this spring. They had some new members, and topped charts in various music programs with their song 'One More Time'.

Sexy singer Seo In-young has maintained Korea's pride in archery.

With group member Park Jeong-ah and break dancer Popin Hyeon-joon, Seo on July 30 attended an opening ceremony of a Chinese satellite variety program promoting the success of next year's Beijing Olympics.

During the show, Seo teamed up with Hyeon-joon and took part in an archery match, finishing in first place among seven teams.

The program's producer said the energetic performance of the three has impressed many Chinese viewers.

Seo's management says "We hope that the Beijing Olympics will facilitate Korean stars' advance into China. Chinese media is showing interest and Seo is receiving many calls to be on Chinese broadcast shows. She will soon release a Chinese album to launch full fledged activities in China". ...

Despite heavy rain throughout the day, more than 5,000 Vietnamese fans attended the 2007 KOVINA Friendship Concert to see Korean Wave stars. The concert was held to commemorate the 15th year of Korea and Vietnam's friendship.

Held on July 3, 7 PM (local time) at the Puto Stadium in Ho Chi Minh, the 2007 KOVINA Friendship Concert was co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and KOCCA. The concert was conducted to commemorate the 15 years of friendship between the two countries and to also promote K-POP in Vietnam. In spite of the heavy rain that lasted throughout the day, the concert proved to be a huge success as 5,000 Vietnamese fans attended and enjoyed it.

The concert was hosted by Kang Ta, Korean singer and actor working actively in the Chinese regions, Park Jeong-Ah, Korean singer who made her first visit to Vietnam, and Huong, Vietnamese anchor of HTV. The concert also starred nine Korean artists and two Vietnamese pop singers.
