 Actress Ko Hyeon-jeong, known for avoiding media spotlight, plans to come out of her mysterious veil by making guest appearance on two popular radio shows including 'Starry Night'(95.9Mhz) on MBC FM on August 1 and on 'Choi Hwa-jeong's Power Time'(107.7Mhz) on SBS FM. It will be Ko's first official media appearance in more than a year since MBC drama series 'Heat' ended.
Ko, a former pageant queen who rose to superstardom in the 90s through her roles on popular TV drama series, will candidly talk about what she has been up to as well as her future plans.
Her close friends and popular celebrity radio DJs Park Kyeong-rim and Choi Hwa-jeong reportedly persuaded the actress to appear on the radio shows. Singers Kim Jang-hoon and Hong Kyung-min will also make guest appearances on 'Starry Night' alongside the actress.

Top Korean celebrities have joined together to wish the South Korean Olympic team a good fight at the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games. Television host Kang Byung-kyu, comedian Park Kyeong-rim, and singer Park Sang-min, among others, will head to Beijing to support the team.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korean Olympic Committee on Thursday, the Beijing Olympics celebrity cheering squad will officially announce their start at the Seoul Olympic Hall, Olympic Park at 3 p.m. July 25, along with the declaration of the South Korean team. The list of the stars volunteering was also revealed on the same day.
Former professional baseball player Kang will head the cheering party. The squad includes around 30 volunteers of top celebrities such as singer Im Chang-jeong, Tae Jin-a, Joo Young-hoon, Crown J, model and T.V. host Hyeon Yeong and pop group Cool.

 Popular TV personality Park Kyeong-rim will host a bazaar with members of her fan club.
Park plans to open a one-day bazaar at the Anguk branch of 'Beautiful Store' with members of her fan club 'The Rose'. Proceeds from the bazaar will be donated to low-income elderly and children.
For the bazaar, Park will deliver one thousand pieces of clothing from her internet shopping brand 'New York Story' as well as some of her personal belongings to the thriftstore.
Members of her fan club will take part in the selling the items. Park will also give out autographed t-shirts and piggy banks to 100 people who donate piggy banks to the bazaar.
The Beautiful Foundation said Park has been donating 1% of her income to charity since she was a student at Dongduk Women's University. She also donated the entire proceeds from her album sales in 2002 to a campaign to help children with cancer....| More

 Comedian Park Kyeong-rim will join the musical 'Hairspray' as a producer. She has become a collaborative producer to the production which she watched 15 times on Broadway due to her keen interest in musical production while she studied in the US.
Dubbed the " miracle " of a new style Broadway musical comedy, Hairspray entered Broadway with great fanfare after it premiered in June, 2002 in Seattle.
It received rave reviews since its Broadway debut in August 2002 to grab eight awards at the 2003 Tony's, including Best Musical.
The musical, characterized by the humor and romance of a 1960s Baltimore, is still hot on Broadway.
