Different Bodies for Different Souls in "Who Are You - Drama"

The producers of the 2007 hit drama "Thank You" have teamed up together for another drama for the family, "Who Are You - Drama"

This drama employs "spiritual possession", a popular idea which was also used in the 2006 drama "Come Back, Soon Ae" and the Japanese movie "Secret" (1999), in which spirits take control of a human body.

Director of the drama Sin Hyeon-chang explained the drama as human, fantastic, romantic and comical. "This is a family drama about recovering relationships", said Sin.

In a Korean tradition mixing Buddhism and Confucianism, the soul of a dead person is left on earth for 49 days before going to the afterlife. The drama is a story about those 49 days for a father who loves his daughter so much he possesses a stranger's body to care for her.

The number of volunteers flocking to Taean, South Chungcheong to clean the area's oil-ravaged coasts exceeded 1,150,000 as of Monday.
Pop star "Rain" is among the helping hands. Despite his busy performance schedule, he headed for the damaged coast immediately upon arrival from the United States last Wednesday.
Media from both near and far covered "Rain"'s volunteer work. The Hong Kong-based Oriental Daily News and Taiwan's Taipei Daily even ran the news on its front page.

Books of the Korean Wave Celebrities' Secrets attract many Japanese readers. In a book store selling Korean books we visited on the 8th, there was a section full of at least 10 'Secrets of **' series books; Bae Yong-joon, Ryoo Si-won, Kwon Sang-woo, Jo In-seong, Park Yong-ha, Rain, So Ji-sub, Ahn Jae-wook, Lee Byeong-Heon, Won Bin, and more.

Each book has portraiture of a star on the cover and inside they reveal their personal secrets. The book contains stories of birth, childhood, behind the scene stories at shooting locations, and scandals. It attracts many of the Korean Wave fans.

In the case of Bae Yong-joon, two books 'The Secret of Bae Yong-joon' and 'The Secret of the Prince of smile, Bae Yong-joon 2' have published and these books cover hidden stories at shooting locations, dreams he had before his injury, and a captivating story about an incident during a commercial shooting at a foreign location.

Mc Mong: More Than a Joker

Looking at him laughing, chatting and moving around makes one think he lives up to his name, Mc Mong, associated with a naughty monkey. He is precariously perched between being a rapper and an entertainer, but Hip Hop is what he does best. Now he is also trying to be mature, practicing forgiveness and reconciliation. With his recently released third album topping all music charts, he may be the busiest star in Korea right now. "I can't remember all the things I did even yesterday", he says hyperbolically. Star Couple Tackles Love on Big Screen

If real-life lovers star in a melodrama, can they do a more convincing job of telling a love story, whether its sad or romantic?

Movie stars Jo Seung-woo and Kang Hye-jeong, who have been a couple for years, say that their upcoming movie "Love Phobia (Tomabaem)" will have the answer.

"Since we are a couple in the real world, we were able to help each other while we were making the film, more than just as co-stars", Jo said during a news conference held last Friday at Seoul Plaza Hotel in downtown Seoul. "But while we were working, we didn't really think we were each others' boyfriend or girlfriend".

Kang and Jo showed up at the conference with their hands clasped tight. The event was held to promote the movie, which opens April 27.
