It is spring of the year 1999. At a high school in Gyeongju (an ancient capital located in the southern region of Korea), Dan-hee (Kim Hee-seon) is famous among the guys as an eccentric girl who plays baseball, and Ha-jin (Lee Dong-geon) is renowned as the handsome class president who has overcome his past as an orphan.
On the other hand, Yoo-gang (Yoon Se-ah) is a loner who is ostracized from her peers because of her melancholy character, but her eyes are always on Ha-jin. Years later, in the spring of 2006, Ha-jin comes to Jae-myung’s (Lee Jin-wook) rescue when he is in need of help, and the two become best friends. Jae-myung is the son of the President of Mirae Chemicals, and his recommendation lands Ha-jin a job.
The President orders Jae-myung to coach the company’s softball team, in hope that it will discipline him. Dan-hee has respected Jae-myung as a baseball player for a long time and has high hopes for his influence as a coach. At first, Jae-myung scoffs at the softball team, having been a baseball player all his life, but begins to find motivation while working with the team through Dan-hee’s passion and diligence. He sets new goals to transform his team into a champion team and to make Dan-hee into the best pitcher in the game. During this process, he falls in love with her. Dan-hee is also attracted to Jae-myung, but finds it difficult to open up to him after the scar left in her heart by her first love. Jae-myung becomes curious about this man who has hurt Dan-hee so deeply…

The comebacks of four top actresses are drawing attention. The actresses include Kim Ji-soo, Son Ye-jin, Kim Seon-ah, and Kim Hee-seon.
Their breaks have been at least two years and at most three years. Kim Ji-soo and Son Ye-jin have focused on movies, and Kim Hee-seon and Kim Seon-ah have been taking breaks while searching for a comeback project.

Numerous celebrities have joined in mourning for hallyu star Lee Dong-geon's brother at a chapel in Samsung Medical Center in southern Seoul.
Lee's brother, Lee Joon-yub, 19, was fatally stabbed near the World Square Shopping center in Sydney, Australia, March 20. He and his friend, who were both studying in Sydney, were attacked during an argument with two Chinese gang members. The 19-year-old's body was cremated in Sydney on March 26 and Lee brought back his brother's ashes to Seoul on March 28.
Actors and actresses, close to Lee, visited the chapel to convey their condolences over his brother's death.
Han Ji-hye, Lee's ex-girlfriend, visited the chapel and grieved with Lee and his family. She burst into tears at the sight of the brother's portrait.
Han was told the news after filming "Likable or Not" ("I Hate You, But It's Fine") a local hit drama ― now airing on KBS, and rushed to the hospital.

 Actress Ha Ji-won has been helping the needy, including low-income youths, for the past year.
The Gangnam branch of Healthy Family Support Center said the actress has been taking an active part in the 'Smile Again Project' since December last year to help low-income and disabled children.
The center also said the entire budget for the long-term project was donated by Ha. It said the actress will be donating money every year for the project.
The project includes a custom-designed family support service that involves home-to-home cognitive verbal therapy, a project called 'Dreams Come True' providing money for education and extracurricular activities for non-disabled children living with disabled family members, a project entitled 'A Painting By Our Family' that involves family members visiting local community centers to paint their walls as well as a 'Happy Bank Account' to promote love and expression of love among family members....| More |

Korean actress Ha Ji-won, renowned for her role in the KBS hit drama "Hwangjin-i", has been secretly helping underprivileged and disabled children and their families for the past year.
The actress together with the Gangnam-gu Family Welfare Center in Seoul has been running a donation project for children called "The Smile Again Project", which they started in December 2006. The actress' fan club "1023" have been active volunteers since the beginning. Ha put down 100 million won to get the project going, ward officials said.
"Ha has been very cooperative, and most of all she has made sure the project didn't end up being merely a donation event", said an official from the center.

 Kim Hee-seon, 30, famous for roles in dramas and sitcoms, will marry her boyfriend this October. They were introduced by friends earlier this year.
