Actress Ryoo Hyeon-kyeong, who has been recently on the spotlight by expanding her career into film directing, gets into the 'Asiana International Short Film Festival'.
Ryoo made a great achievement in 'CINE Student' section of the 13th Chungmuro International Film Festival in Seoul where her short piece, 'Kwang Tae's Basic Story', was among the final 30 short films out of the total 120 entries. Her work fell short of receiving awards but she made progress with her talent as a director as well as an actress recognized. As a director, she attends the 7th Asiana International Short Film Festival which raises its curtain on Nov. 5. She studies film making at Hanyang Univ. She already debuted as a director and female lead in her short piece 'Dissonance' 10 years ago when she was in the 3rd grade of middle school. She has continuously maintained her filmmaking career.
