Scenario writer YOON Jae-goo makes his feature film directorial debut with "Secret - 2009". YOON stays in familiar territory and wrote another inventive thriller which he directed himself this time.
YOON told journalists that "Seven Day" and "Secret - 2009" are intended to be the first two films of a four films series revolving around the theme 'saving'.
CHA Seung-won plays a police detective in Secret who will try to save his wife (SONG Yoon-ah). She is the likely perpetrator in the murder case he is investigating.
In "Seven Days", Lost actress KIM Yoon-jin tries to save her daughter from her kidnappers. The future two films of the saving series will deal with saving a friend and saving the earth.

Actors So Ji-sub and Lee Yeon-hee came out as lovers in "U-Turn", a movie produced by Ssang Yong Motors and On Media. Director Jang Jin of "A Day With My Son" will produce the short film, made of three parts of four minutes each.
The story is that So Ji-sub falls for Lee Yeon-hee's awkward yet lovable charm when she enters his life.
"U-Turn" has filmed from last month to mid-March in Seoul and Kyung Gi Do, and it will be aired on cable starting on April 1. It will also be used as a commercial for SsangYong Acty-On.... |More

The Asia Pacific Screen Awards nominated LEE Chang-dong's "Secret Sunshine" three times; the film competes for the awards: Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Actress (JEON Do-yeon). Promising actor RYOO Deok-hwan is nominated for the Best Actor award for his role in "Like a Virgin".
"Secret Sunshine" distinguished itself at this year's Cannes International Film Festival and it culminated in the Best Actress award for JEON. RYOO already collected a number of Best New Actor awards for his performance in "Like a Virgin". He was part of this year's JANG Jin film "A Day with My Son" alongside CHA Seung-won.
