Haven't you noticed? Dramas these days are upgrading more than ever!
Except a few unsuccessful dramas, beautiful works like "Sorry, I love you", "Alone In Love", "Spring Waltz", "Fashion 70s", and "Princess Hours" are like movies. I could name so much more dramas I've watched that are like movies starting with "My Sweet Seoul". The audience are submerged into the world that they watch on the ...| More

The comebacks of four top actresses are drawing attention. The actresses include Kim Ji-soo, Son Ye-jin, Kim Seon-ah, and Kim Hee-seon.
Their breaks have been at least two years and at most three years. Kim Ji-soo and Son Ye-jin have focused on movies, and Kim Hee-seon and Kim Seon-ah have been taking breaks while searching for a comeback project.
Kim Ji-soo is coming back in May with KBS drama "Women in the Sun". It's been three years since MBC drama "Age of Hero" in 2005.
Kim Ji-soo plays Shin Do-young, an announcer who holds a secret of her birth. She has the looks, knowledge, and skill, but always feels burdened by the secret of her birth.
Son Ye-jin's comeback work is MBC drama "Spotlight", which will start in May. It has been two years since SBS drama "Alone in Love".
Son Ye-jin plays Seo Woo-jin, who begins as a reporter and moves up to become an anchor. This drama will be playing at the same time as Kim Ji-soo's drama "Women in the Sun", and a competition is inev...| More

I've met many actresses in my day, but I must say Kim Tae-hee tops them all. She resembles a porcelain doll come to life.
She rose as the advertising model queen with her looks, but her acting skills took a harsh beating from critics after her first big screen movie "The Restless" was released last year. Now, her second movie, "Ssaum" ("Venus and Mars"), will be released on December 13. It's about a post-divorce battle between cowardly neat-freak Sang-min (Seol Kyeong-gu) who never says sorry, and fierce-tempered Jina (Kim Tae-hee). Kicking and screaming, Kim goes around with runny mascara eyes wielding a steel pipe, but everybody agrees, she was still very much the pretty face in the film. This may or may not be a compliment.
At any rate, Kim has bared her ambitions to the Korean film-going audience, and the stakes for her are higher than ever before.
Did you originally intend to be a messy person in the film?-
"I know that people want me to look messy. If I did this movie...| More

Cognitive dissonance is a psychological phenomenon that refers to the discomfort felt when what you already know clashes with a new interpretation. "Venus and Mars" feeds off this idea from beginning to end, as director Han Ji-seung ("A Day", 2001) ironically defines love through the art of warfare, using a mix of genres dubbed "hardboiled" romantic comedy.
Called a romance guru for his hit TV series "Alone in Love" (Yeonaesidae, 2006, SBS), the director makes a comeback on the silver screen where he traces a highly volatile emotional -- and physical -- tug of war between a divorced couple.
Hot-blooded glass artist Jin-a (Kim Tae-hee) and faint-hearted, cleanliness-obsessed entomologist Sang-min (Seol Kyeong-gu) have absolutely nothing in common. But opposites attract, and the two tie the knot after a string of ultra dramatic break-ups and make-ups. The two end up splitting, however, when a bug-in-the-glass-jar incident demonstrates their irreco...| More
