Korean pop singer and Asia-wide music star "Rain" or Jung Ji Hoon, 26, is spreading his wings to the world -- not in tour but on screen.

Thanks to his songs and charismatic dancing, followed by a modeling and acting career, he was dubbed one of the world's most beautiful people by People Magazine in 2007 and is to debut as a movie actor in a Hollywood blockbuster "Speed Racer" directed by the Wachowski brothers, director of the world-famous "Matrix" trilogy of films.

Actor/singer "Rain" (Bi) entered the "100 of the World's Most Influential People" of the leading weekly magazine Time for the third consecutive year. He has also been selected for the related "10 questions" video interview, according to his representative agency J. Tune entertainment.

This year and last year, "Rain" is on top of the online voting list for Time's 100 of the World's Most Influential people. "Rain" first featured in the prestigious list in 2006.

"Rain"'s real name is JUNG Ji-hoon which he used for his film debut in PARK Chan-wook's "I'm a Cyborg, but that's Ok" (Cyborgjiman Gwaenchanha). The British press is focusing on Director Park Chan-wook, who is awaiting the British premiere of "I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK" on the 4th.

Britain's daily magazine The Times stated through an interview with Director Park that the "poet of blood has changed his productions to love stories".

PARK Chan-wook keeps demanding international attention. After the recent disclosure of Charlize Theron's plan to produce and star in a remake of PARK's "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" (Chinjeorhan Geumjassi)",I'm a Cyborg, but that's Ok" (Ssaibogeujiman Gwaenjanha) is scheduled for a release in UK cinemas on April 4.

One of the leading progressive newspapers The Guardian interviewed PARK for the occasion. I'm a Cyborg, but that's Ok is praised for its beautiful visuals and its 'offbeat charms'. PARK intended to make a film which his 12-year-old daughter is also able to watch with her friends.
