A man named Iron Palm arrives at L.A. airport holding a rice cooker. He has come to the States with the sole hope of finding his first love, Jinnie. Five years ago, he and Jinnie were in love but one day, she left for L.A. alone. After she left his life, Iron trained himself in a shaolin way, 'the Iron Palm', to calm his yearning for his love. He would put his hands into a hot rice cooker whenever Jinnie was reminded. That's how he's got 'iron palms'.
Five years have past, and Jinnie cannot live without soju even a single day and now works as a bartender dreaming to open a trendy soju bar in L.A. Jinnie is going out with a yuppie, 'Admiral', who runs his own business and is rich enough to make her dream come true. But all of a sudden, Iron Palm shows up and interferes with her well-planned future by insisting her on marrying him. With everything on the verge of breakdown, and the two guys starting to fight over Jinnie, she suggests an unusual solution.
"How about seeing both of you by rotation? Iron on Mon, Wed, Friday and Admiral on Tue, Thurs, Saturday. Sunday is off, no wonder".
Who is gonna be the man of Jinnie?

The film has recently gained some interest among Asian viewers, too, as an early example of intra-Asian cinematic collaboration, in this case between the Korean director Jeong Chang Hwa and the Hong Kong staff and cast.
"King Boxer" is indeed one of the best examples of the more hardboiled, violent wing of ...| More

Despite having been an established actress in her native South Korea for almost 10 years, Kim Yoon-jin's star is still on the rise. Her career in Korea started out with parts in TV dramas and quickly advanced into film with her debut in the groundbreaking Korean film "Shiri" (1999). It was her role in this blockbuster that earned her star status and she was cast in other Korean films such as "The Gingko Bed" (2000), "Iron Palm" (2002), and "Diary of June" (2005).
In 2004, she scored the role that would allow her to break through on the Hollywood scene – the character Kwon Sunhwa on the hit TV series Lost. Kim plays a Korean woman whose characteristics defy those of conventional stereotypes typically attributed to Korean women. Just as the viewers find with each of the main characters on the show, there is more than meets the eye with Sun. Each of the characters on Lost is inherently a "good" person despite having made some questionable choices in life – and Sun is no exception. Her ...| More
