It seemed that Kim Heung-soo had a lot of worries. During the whole interview, he spoke slowly and chose his words carefully. I thought his answer to a question was over so I would be thinking of the next question, but his answer would continue. It was like listening to a 'never-ending story'. If Jae-su, the youngest son in "More Beautiful Than a Flower" were to grow a little more, he would have been like him.
"I'm not very good at lying. I told you the truth about everything so you pick and choose".
After taking a break after 2005 SBS "Princess LuLu", he came back with MBC weekend drama "Ggak-du-gi". In the beginning of this year, he also starred in three other works, including movie "Hellcats", "Like Father, Like Son", MBC season drama "Life Special Investigation Team". Because of his busy schedule, he wasn't able to publicize "Like Father, Like Son" well, and he felt unfortunate for that.
"Life Special Investigation Team" was a season drama that ended on the 29th, and it wa...| More

In late April, Iron Man arrived in the Korean cinema, smashing the box office into very profitable pieces. In mid-May, Prince Caspian took the baton and kept up the pressure on Korean competitors. Last weekend, whip-wielding Indy joined the Hollywood-only party, roped in plenty of movie tickets sales.
The bombardment of Hollywood films dragged down the share of Korean films to a record low. But the bleak development was widely predicted since only a couple of new Korean releases were made. June might be slightly different, as eight Korean movies are set for release.
"Girl Scout", directed by Kim Sang-man, will hit theaters on June 5, featuring well-known actors such as Kim Seon-ah, Nah Moon-hee, Lee Kyeong-sil. The film will test whether the audiences still have an appetite for a chase-the-money drama with fewer funny moments than publicized.
Waiting in line for the June 12 release are four Korean films: "Life is Cool", "Beyond All Magic", "Spare" and "Like Father, Like Son". ...| More

The media contents company will be given a primary chance to invest in four additional movies currently under preparation by CJ Entertainment.

Like physical ability, talent is apparently something that runs in the family, too. This passing on of the gift for acting or singing can be seen this fall in the rush of second-generation male stars dominating both big and small screens.
Kim Moo-saeng (died in February at the age of 62) and Kim Joo-hyeok (33)
When Kim Joo-hyeok played the role of a stuffy assistant teacher on "KAIST" in 1999, he easily could have passed as an extra picked up on the set. Not only was his delivery of lines awkward, his overall performance was just plain bad, critics said. But experience gained on the job eventually led him to landing his first major role as a detective in the 2002 thriller "Say Yes", which he starred alongside Choo Sang-mi and Park Joong-hoon. It wasn't long before critics were writing that he was a chip off the old block, as it was no secret that he was the son of actor Kim Moo-saeng, who passed on last spring. The younger Kim has gone on to tak...| More
