Synopsis
On Christmas Eve, little Bebe waits for Christmas alone. Suddenly, Bebe gets a magical pendant which leads Bebe on a fantastic and unforgettable Christmas adventure. Bebe's exciting adventure takes her from her city to the north pole, from exotic forest to desert, from dark valley to beautiful island, all in a strange mug which has the magical power of transportation. is the first feature animation film by LIM Aaron, well known for directing “I Love Sky” screened at Jeonju International Film Festival and “I Love Picnic” screened at Annecy international Animation Festival. catches audiences' eyes with its eccentric humor and original imagination. An old, driverless car approaches a young man, suddenly stands up, and transforms itself into a tall, talking robot armed with never-before-seen technology.
This is a scene from "Transformers", the recent Hollywood blockbuster directed by Michael Bay. The show features robots that can change themselves into any kind of vehicle to fight against evil robots out to takeover earth.
The movie and the original 1980s cartoon on which it is based captivated many robot enthusiasts, young and old.
The creative power behind the Transformers is Korean animator Nelson Shin, 67, the producer of the original Transformers cartoon and director of the 1986 Transformers movie. Dubbed "god of animators" in South Korea", Shin and the staff at his studio AKOM in Korea have also been drawing famous U.S. cartoon characters from "The Simpsons", "Dilbert" and "Pink Panther".

The Korean Independent Animation Filmmakers Association (KIAFA) announced on Aug. 6 films that made it to the main competition in this year's Indie-Anifest (Chair: Na, Ki-Yong).
Under the slogan, "Breaking the Ice", the Indie-Anifest 2007 selected a total of 32 finalists, 12 in the general category and 20 in the student category.
Among the general category finalists are "Watermelon Chick" by Won Jong-Sik, which competed at the Annecy Festival this year, and his new work "A Millennium Giraffe"; "El Nino" by Lim Ah-ron, who has been well known for his "Mug Travel", which recently premiered in theaters; "The Sense of Space of People Living in a City", a new work by Kim Joon, who participated in "If You were Me : Anima Vision" with The House of the Woman; and the nostalgic "The Eraser Lovers" by Park Ji-Yun.

 Recently released 3D animation "Mug Travel" (Director Lim Ah-Ron) has won 'The Best Film for Children' in BIMINI Animation Festival.
The festival, which was held in Latvia, not only judges on the children's animations, but also for adult animations.
"Mug Travel" is about an adventurous story about a young child 'Bebe' who receives a magical pendant from Santa Claus and meets polar bear 'Bbaeggom', penguins "Ggongggong' and 'Dodo' along the journey.
The animation was first released as a TV series. It has been exported to 20 broadcasting companies worldwide, including French Ansi Animation Festival, Britain's BBC, USA's Cartoon Network, and France's M6.
The movie version has been selected as the opening movie for 1st Busan International Children's Movie Festival. It has also been nominated in Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film and Germany's Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart. The animation was released last 22nd in 37 theatres around the country.

 A Korean-made digital animation won the best prize at an international animation festival.
RG Animation Studio's digital animation "Mug Travel" received "The Best film for Children" in the BIMINI Animation Festival that took place from March 16 to 22.
The animation features the adventure story of a baby named Bebe, his polar bear friend named Bbaekkom, and two penguin friends in a modern city.

Two of last year's big budget fantasy thrillers have been invited to compete at the Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film (BIFFF), set to run April 5th – 17th, 2007 in Belgium. BONG Joon-ho's record-smashing monster film "The Host" and JO Dong-oh's purgatorial fantasy "The Restless" will vie for the top international prize in the program.
Other Korean films selected to participate in the non-competition category are AHN Byeong-ki's residential horror "A.P.T" (2006), KIM Eun-kyeong's boarding school nightmare, "Roommates - 4 Horror Tales" (2006), JO Beom-jin's scatological animation "Aachi and Ssipak" (2006), LEE Si-myeong's biting comedy "Vampire Cop Ricky" (2006) and LIM Ah-ron's animated children's feature "Mug Travel" (2006).
