 Actress Park Ye-jin who is currently starring in the KBS drama series 'Dae Jo Yeong' has joined Bae Yong-joon and Lee Na-young and others at BOF.
Bae Yong-joon's agency BOF announced on the 29th, "We have signed an agency agreement with Park Ye-jin". BOF currently manages Bae Yong-joon, Lee Na-young, So Ji-sub, Heo I-jae, Hong Soo-Hyeon, Shim Ji-Ho, and others.
Park Ye-jin who debuted in 1998 through the movie 'Memento Mori' also starred in 'Something Happened in Bali' and other various series and is currently playing a strong female fighter in 'Dae Jo Young'. Park Ye-jin has also been cast as the main female lead in the upcoming tvN drama series 'The Great Catsby', and will be co-starred by MC Mong and Kang Kyeong-Joon....| More

Hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Minister: Kim, Myeong-Kon) and the Korea Culture and Content Agency (KOCCA, CEO: Suh, Byung-Moon), the 2006 Korea Cartoon-Animation-Character Awards is now calling for the best cartoons, animations and characters.
Those who want to participate in the awards may download the application form on KOCCA's website ( http://www.kocca.or.kr ) from Nov. 8 to 10, 5 PM. All the specified requirements along with the fully accomplished application form should either be personally submitted or mailed.
Results will be announced in mid-November on KOCCA's website. The awarding ceremony will be held on Dec. 6 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Last year's Korea Cartoon-Animation-Character Award honored "The Great Catsby" (Kang, Do-Ha), King of Cards: MIXMASTER (Sun Woo Entertainment) and Pucca (VOOZ).

One diehard fan of Japanese manga who has been a regular at Midtown Comics confessed that when he savors the most recent Korean manhwa, he finds himself in another world, oblivious to the passage of time. "Unlike Japanese manga, manhwa are read from left to right. This oddly similar feature gives a fresh cultural shock to the reader", he explained.
