M OST

During the 2007 Pusan International Film Festival, the press conference for Kang Dong Won's upcoming movie M resulted in mayhem due to the overcrowding of reporters. With advance tickets selling out within the first minute, fans also showed their enthusiasm for the release of this mystery melodrama - inspired by director Lee Myung Se's own dream in which he and writer Choi In Ho exchanged conversation about communication between the living and the dead. In his second collaboration with Kang Dong Won after Duelist, the once visual-driven director paints a complex love story that transcends both time and space. Adorned with a pair of horn-rims and M-shaped hairline, Kang Dong Won plays a writer, loosely based on Choi In Ho, who is searching for his first love.

Enhancing the visual and inner stimulation of M is its soundtrack. The M OST contains a total of 18 tracks and features BoA's "Fog" (Track 2), a cover of Jung Hoon Hee's signature song from the 1970s. The song evokes memories of one's first love. M OST delivers the lush sounds and sentiments M hopes to convey to its audience.
