SEOUL, April. 18 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actress Jang Nara recently contributed to the recording of the official song for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, along with 99 other Chinese entertainers, according to her official website.

The website (http://www.narajjang.com) said Friday that Jang participated in the studio recording of the theme song, which marks the 100-day countdown to the Olympics and was released in Beijing on Thursday....

Singer Son Ho-young will pay an official visit to Hiroshima, a Japanese city which has become a symbol of peace after the tragic atomic bombing.

Some 60 million tourists have come to Hiroshima Prefecture to see Miyajima and the Peace Memorial Park, which are included in UNESCO's World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Recently, in an effort to rediscover Hiroshima and make the charms of the Japanese city widely known both in Japan and overseas, "The Welcome to Hiroshima Project" was launched.

Son was invited for the first event of the project which involves top Asian stars to brighten up the atmosphere. On April 17, he will visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum with some 200 fans and then participate in the Welcome Party at his hotel. On the second day of his trip, he will move to a popular tourist attraction and hold a BBQ party with fans.

Son is expected to have a cozy meeting with fans at the party through a variety of activities, such as shaking hands, taking picture...

Director Kim Ki-duk's "The Isle (Seom)" was selected as one of the 10 most difficult films to watch (but still insanely awesome) movies by Killer Film, an American online film site.

Coming in at ninth, "The Isle" is a strange love story between a prostitute and a man on the run from the cops. The movie had shocked the audience with some of the goriest scenes involving fish hooks and genital mutilation. The list proves that director Kim's films are too complex to understand for foreign audience as well. Kim has been known for his unique (and sometimes bizarre) interpretations of human nature. His other works include highly acclaimed "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... And Spring ", "Samaria", and "Bad Guy".

The film topping the 10 most difficult films to watch list was "Ichi, the Killer" directed by Japanese director Takashi Miike. Other films on the list include "Irreversable" with Monica Bellucci at second place, a mock documentary "Blair Witch Project" at fourth, and Gus Van Sant'...

The U.S. magazine Time has requested an interview with singer/actor "Rain".

"Rain"'s entertainment company J-Tune Entertainment said that Time wanted to interview "Rain" in their video interview corner '10 Questions'. The interview is planned to take place in Korea, and "Rain" will spare some time during his interviews for the Korean promotion of "Speed Racer".

'10 Questions' is a program that interviews famous people around the world, from politicians to entertainers. Internet users from around the world post questions on Time.com and the editor chooses ten questions for the interview.

Some entertainers who have been interviewed include George Clooney, Al Pacino, Susan Sarandom, Jennifer Lopez, and Natalie Portman. "Rain" is the first from Asia.

"Rain" was chosen for 2006 'Time 100' (a yearly list of the 100 most influential people in the world), and placed first for an online poll used to choose the 'Time 100". He has been called the 'Prince of Asian pop'.

Lee Dong-geon and Kim Seon-ah's new drama "When It's At Night" is looking forward to its first filming.

It plans to air after MBC "Lee San", and the first episode will come out on June 16. The romantic comedy tells the story of a womanizer and an extreme patriot who both go out to find a national treasure.

The screenplay has been finished recently, and the producers are going to Japan on the 14th. Filming in Japan will occur mid-May, and they are hoping to find a location.

After the script reading during the fourth week of April, filming will begin on the last week. Lee Dong-geon will be acting for the first time since his brother's death, and Kim Seon-ah is coming back from a 3-year hiatus after "My Name is Kim Sam-soon".

Kim Seon-ah received the role of Huh Cho-hee, a 29-year-old single woman who is lean and sexy. She enters the security bureau of the cultural artifacts department, and meets Kim Bum-sang, a professor of ancient art.

Kwon Sang-woo is working hard for the dance scene in his comeback work, SBS drama "Big Things". He acts as Haryu, who is well-known for meeting women in local cabarets.

He is learning the jitterbug, blues, cha-cha-cha, rumba, jive, and samba five days at week at a sports dance school. One representative of the drama said, "He is learning dance to accomplish his role well. He is working hard, and everybody has confidence in him".

Koo Hye-seon, who was in "the King and I", will be acting once more in a historical drama.

She was cast as So-yoon in "Strongest Chil-woo", set to come out in June, and will be lovers with Eric Moon.

Kang Chil-woo is one who punishes lawbreakers for the king by day, but at night, he changes into a killer who punishes the acts of evil. Jeon No-min will also star as one of the killers.

Koo Hye-seon used to be a daughter of a noble but is sent somewhere as a workwoman. When she comes back, she becomes a servant. She is Chil-woo's (Eric Moon) first love and only lover.

Lee Jae-gyoo, Lee Yoon-jeong drama comeback

There is great interest for the works of star producers, which will be coming out at the end of this year.

The comebacks of four top actresses are drawing attention. The actresses include Kim Ji-soo, Son Ye-jin, Kim Seon-ah, and Kim Hee-seon.
