Actress Park Seon-yeong, 35, will tie the knot with an interpreter working for Cheong Wa Dae in May, her agency said, Thursday.

"Park will hold a wedding ceremony at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul on May 29. They have maintained a relationship for seven years after they first met on a blind date in 2003", the agency said in a statement.

The would-be-husband, identified only as Kim, is a foreign ministry worker who has passed the state test to become a diplomat. He has been dispatched to the presidential house for a stint as an interpreter for President Lee Myung-bak.

Park made her TV debut in 1996. She appeared in the popular KBS2 TV drama "My Too Perfect Sons" last year.



탤런트 박선영 5월 결혼

탤런트 박선영 (35)이 오는 5월 청와대에서 대통령 통역으로 근무하고 있는 김모씨와 결혼한다고 그녀의 소속사가 발표했다.

소속사는 "박선영이 5월 29일 서울 신라호텔에서 결혼식을 올린다. 두 사람은 2003년 소개로 만난 뒤 7년 동안 사귀어왔다"고 전했다.

남편이 될 김모씨는 외무고시를 합격한 외무부 소속 공무원으로, 이명박 대통령 통역으로 청와대에 파견된 상태다.

1996년 TV에 데뷔한 박선영은 지난해 KBS 2TV 드라마 `솔약국집 아들들'에 출연해 큰 인기를 끌었다.
　
25일 박선영의 소속사 디초콜릿 이엔티에프는 "박선영이 5월29일 서울 신라호텔에서 외교통상부 공무원 김모씨와 결혼한다".고 밝혔다.

5월의 신부가 되는 박선영의 결혼식은 '두 사람의 의견에 따라 비공개 예배형식으로 진행되며, 신접살림은 서초동에 차릴 예정이다.

박선영은 "소탈하면서도 진실하고 성실한 모습이 가장 매력적인 남자다. 오랜 기간 만났음에도 변함없이 아껴주는 모습에 반해 결혼까지 결심하게 되었다"고 말했다.

한편, 박선영은 1996년 KBS 슈퍼탤런트 대상을 수상하며 연예계에 데뷔. '진실', '화려한 시절', '장희빈', '슬픔이여 안녕', '겨울새' 등의 드라마에 출연했으며 지난해 종영한 KBS 2TV '솔약국집 아들들'에서는 국제변호사 '이수진'역으로 시청자들의 큰 사랑을 받았다.
