　　滂沱大雨的晚上，老差骨與身穿雨衣的神秘人在小巷撞上了，兩人若無其事地離開。一星期後，有人發現一對老夫婦被利器插死，案發地點就在小巷的附近，警員認為雨衣怪人與此案有莫大的關連，發誓要將這擦肩而過的人找到。這時，另一宗兇案發生了，手法與之前一宗同樣兇殘。警員誓要找到蛛絲馬跡，緝捕這狂徒…

　　Ruthless cop Chul-joong and a merciless killer in raincoat run into each other in a small alleyway and form a fatal bond. A free-for-all fight occurs by coincidence on a rainy street. A week later, the dead bodies of an old couple are discovered with multiple stab wounds. Chul-jong suddenly recalls the night he met the man in the raincoat. Chul-joong meets the old couple's son CHO Gyoo-hwan. He has an intuition that CHO is the murderer but has no clue. In the meantime, another murder takes place in the same fashion. The showdown between a dirty cop and a killer unfolds, as things get more personal.

I thought is movie is boring..but it is not. This movie is real action thriller. Lee Sung gae at his best playing a merciless killer. You should watch this one. The more reason i need to get a copy of part 2.

although this movie is considered action- this film in quality is more like black comedy. i thought that this film was hilarious. if you like black comedy you should check this out. i would buy this but i need a US version!!!

this is a great movie to see, it has the action comedy aspects to it while never defiling its actual strengths. You don't see racial jokes, nor do you see the main character sitting there cracking out 1 liners all over the place. public enemy is a great action movie with almost everything going for it (shower... ewww)

Public Enemy is the second most popular Korean film in Korea this year (as of September). 2,987,900 viewed national wide in Korea. I was already impressed with Seol-KyungKoo in Peppermint Candy. He is an execellent actor.

I watched it on video, and I have to say that it is as funny as (if not more) My Sassy Girl and My Gangster Wife. Besides the humor, it is also funny to observe the transformation the main character goes through during the movie. I didn't expect at all what he was going to do with what he found at the beginning of the movie. You will have to see the movie to know find out what I am talking about.
