Bulhandang (AKA: Robber) OST (SBS TV Drama)

SBS's new melodrama Bulhandang (a.k.a. Robber) paints a delicate romance that develops between two people, each carrying an unbearably painful past. Jang Hyuk (Thank You) stars opposite Lee Da Hae (My Girl), portraying a hopeless swindler. Lee plays a naive single mom who vows to never fall in love again. From musical director Choi Sung Wook who brought us the unforgettable sounds from I Am Sorry, I Love You, Piano, and All In, comes the soundtrack for Bulhandang, offering tunes that will evoke memories of the drama's most poignant moments.

Up-and-coming boy band BAY brings their smooth tantalizing sounds to the drama's soundtrack. The group discovered by producer Lee Sang Joon, who also launched the career of BUZZ, springs back with Shinhodeong ("Traffic Light" - Track 2), the drama's ending theme which has already gained huge popularity amongst drama fans. The melancholic ballad laments the torment of letting go of one's love. Another track to look out for is Gaseumyee Meiurwah ("Cringing Heart" - Track 3), a tearful love song featuring an exotic blend of the orchestral sounds and Spanish guitar riffs, beautifully sung by newcomer Shin Na Ra.

신인 가수 ‘신나라’의 성숙한 보컬이 듣는 이의 심금을 울리는 곡 ‘가슴이 메어와’는 극중 달래(이다해 분)가 사랑하는 이를 떠나 보내는 마음을 노래한 곡이다. 17세의 어린 나이에 데뷔하게 된 ‘신나라’는 이번 앨범에서 ‘발리에서 생긴 일’,’봄날’,’히트’ 등 많은 OST의 테마곡을 만든 작곡가 박준수와호흡을맞췄으며, 애절하면서도 절제된 가창력을 선보여 드라마의 깊이를 한층 더해 주고 있다. 웅장한 스트링 사운드와 스패니쉬 기타의 이국적인 하모니도 이 곡에서 놓쳐선 안될 포인트이다.
