Stepping into the director's chair for this multi-storied motion picture is writer/director Kwon Jong Gwan, fresh off his 2004 directorial debut film S Diary.

1. 첫 번째 새드무비… 진우&수정
열혈 소방관 진우. 그에겐 너무나 사랑스런 그녀, 수정이 있다. 그는 수정과 영원히 함께 하기 위해서 멋진 프러포즈를 준비하려 하지만 사랑에 서투른 이 남자, 번번히 기회를 놓치고 만다. 한편, 매번 불 속에 뛰어들 수밖에 없는 연인, 진우를 위해 수정은 매일같이 비를 기다리면서도 불안한 마음은 멈출 줄 모르는데…

2. 두 번째 새드무비… 하석&숙현
백수생활 3년차, 하석은 스파링 아르바이트로 데이트 비용을 벌어야 하는 처량한 신세다. 그러던 어느 날, 하석에게는 둘도 없는 연인인 숙현이 싸늘하게 이별을 통보하고. 이에 하석은 가난에 지친 그녀의 마음을 돌리기 위해 이별을 대신 전해주는 이별대행업을 시작하게 된다. 과연, 그는 다른 연인들을 헤어지게 하면서 자신의 사랑을 지켜낼 수 있을까?

3. 세 번째 새드무비… 주영&휘찬
너무 바쁜 엄마 주영, 그리고 점점 삐뚤어져 나가기만 하는 휘찬. 자신의 바쁜 처지 때문에 초등학생인 아들 휘찬이 어긋나는 것이 속상한 주영은 마음이 아프다. 거짓말 그림일기에 일부러 틀리는 받아쓰기… 선생님한테 불려가는 일도 잦아졌다. 그러던 어느날, 자신이 아들과 보낼 시간이 얼마 남지 않았다는 사실을 알게 되고…아들에게 못해준 것이 너무 많은 엄마와 말썽꾸러기 아들의 조금은 늦은, 그러나 아름다운 화해가 시작된다.

4. 네 번째 새드무비… 상규&수은
얼굴에 화상을 간직한 청각장애인 수은은 놀이공원에서 처음으로 가슴이 뛰는 첫사랑 상규를 만난다. 말도 건넬 수 없고, 얼굴도 보여줄 수 없어 주위를 맴돌기만 할 뿐, 앞에 나서지 못하고 마음만 졸이고 있는 수은. 하지만 사정도 모르는 상규는 그녀의 얼굴을 보고 싶어 점점 다가오는데...

If you're Jung Woo Sung fans. Go get this movies today. This certainly must be one of his best. After the ends of the movies, your heart still achings for him. And he's more handsome than ever.

i absolutely love love love this film..i know its a bit simple in ways but its soo beautiful. it really says something. spend as much time with your loved ones and tell them you love them while you can. this movie is very very good. it made me cry and cry and cry even after it was over. even thinking about some parts made me cry. its just so great and sad and good. the name really stands for the movie. it is what it's called. sad movie.also the cast was great. i loved how they potrayed their characters. the actors were all very good and convincing. if you get this dont say i didnt warn you..because the little boy an dhis mom really sock the tears to you and will leave you lingering for a long time. also the soundtrack is great. i just love it..it is a definite MUST HAVE!! =D

This movie is sad through some parts, however the movie lacked any kind of point whatsoever. It leaves you thinking "That's it". As someone said earlier borrow but not a buy item.

Like the title entails, this is indeed a SAD MOVIE. I purchased this item last summer because of the actors. The stories are touching, especially the one with the mother and her son. I like how all four stories are interrelated somehow! The acting was okay, the music was so-so for me - nothing too spectacular. Let's put it this way: the story is rather simplistic yet really pulls the heart. The product itself is great! Glad this the VCD version had english subs!!!

Well, for me this film is a so-so movie. The touching part is the mother and child story. That one really made me cry. But basically, rest is ok. I suggest that you borrow instead of buying coz its not worth keeping.
