Seo In-young of female band Jewelry will return as solo singer later this month with a song written by Psy. The release of Seo's new solo album is scheduled for July 23rd, which signals a fierce battle over the title of top dancing queen with Uhm Jung-hwa and Lee Hyo-lee.
The title song of Seo's second solo album was composed by Psy before he went to serve in the military. The song was adapted to suit Seo's energetic style. She will also sport a different, cuter image for the new release, shedding her sexy diva persona. Having set the recent fashion trend with her mushroom-style hairdo and obsession with new shoes, she will continue on her role as a fashion icon by introducing a unique hair style and outfits.
Seo plans to wrap up the shooting for her album cover and start filming a music video next Monday. Her skills as a vocalist have been proven through her first solo album "Elly Is So Hot". In that 2007 album she has demonstrated her vocal skills and a knack for putting on eye-catching performances through such songs as "I Want You" and "Teach Me".
