Seulong of 2AM and Ahn So-hee of the Wonder Girls were wrapped up in a short-lived love scandal that erupted yesterday morning and flamed out hours later.
The rumors began yesterday morning when a local media outlet reported that the two had enjoyed a date over Christmas and that Seulong had showered So-hee with gifts. The picture with the article showed the two having a meal together at a restaurant in the early hours of the morning.
Not long after the article appeared, JYP Entertainment, which represents both stars, said that it would find out if there was any truth to the rumors.
By the afternoon, JYP said the two stars were not an item.
"Like many artists belonging to JYP Entertainment, the two are great friends, but that's about it", a representative from the agency said. "As the two are close, they shared a meal together over Christmas, which may have given the wrong impression about their relationship".
