Seven Days OST

Actress Kim Yoon Jin (Ardor, Yesterday) is all smiles these days. Her highly popular American drama series Lost received a green light for yet another season, and her recently released film Seven Days is currently the number one movie in Korea, selling over 1 million tickets within the first two weeks of its opening. Seven Days is Kim's first blockbuster film since Shiri which was released back in 1999. In Seven Days, a fast-paced mystery thriller, Kim plays a lawyer who must acquit a death-row murderer in exchange for saving the life of her kidnapped daughter. Kim brilliantly portrays the role of a desperate mother with much precision and realism.

Taking control of the production for the Seven Days OST is Kim Joon Sung, a renowned musical director who received a Blue Dragon Award for his work in Marathon (2005). In order to intensify the tension and suspense of the plot, the musical score covers almost seventy-five percent of the movie. Up-and-coming artist Janinto offers healing music through the surreal, hypnotic melodies of Blu Yons Tae (Track 1) and Noh Cah (Track 20).

김윤진의 법정 스릴러 영화 '세븐데이즈' OST 발매

'세븐데이즈'는 '말아톤'으로 지난 2005년 대종상과 청룡영화 음악상을 거머쥔 탄탄한 음악성과 탁월한 작품 해석 능력을 보여준 김준성 음악감독의 새로운 면모를 접할 수 있는 작품이다. '미드' 스타일의 스타일리쉬한 영상과 숨막히는 긴장감을 제공하는 영화 '세븐데이즈'는 미국 ABC 방송 드라마인 '로스트'로 전 세계인을 사로잡은 배우 김윤진이 2년만의 국내 복귀작으로 꼽은 영화로 이목을 집중시키고 있다. 김준성 음악감독은 "120여 분의 런닝 타임 중 90여 분에 음악이 삽입된다. 이는 미국 영화음악에서나 볼 수 있는 경향으로 음악이 영화의 속도감과 긴장감을 유지하고 증폭시키는 큰 요소라는 것을 입증하게 될 것"이라며 "70여분의 OST 음반 선곡을 위해 고심했다"고 전한다.

'세븐데이즈'의 원신연 감독은 "우리나라에서 거의 찾아볼 수 없었던 최고의 음악을 내게 선물해 줬고, 기존 헐리웃의 여타 영화음악과 비교해도 손색이 없는 음악이다"라며 OST에 대한 칭찬을 아끼지 않았다. 특히 이번 OST 음반에는 국내에서 활동하는 가수라는 이력 이외에는 많이 알려지지 않은 자닌토의 'Blu YonS Tae'와 'Noh Cah' 가 삽입되어 몽환적이면서도 아름다운 멜로디를 선사한다. 특히 1번 트랙에 삽입된 'Blu YonS Tae'는 듣는 사람으로 하여금 마치 최면에 걸리는 듯한 마력을 지닌 곡이다.
