Terms of Endearment was one of the most popular TV drama series in Korea in 2004. It deals with some social issues such as cohabitation, extra-marital affairs, and the falling-apart of families. It shows how devastating and hurtful it can be for a woman to live with a boyfriend before marriage and not end up tying a knot with him. Performed by new TV actors and actresses who offer refreshing acting, Terms of Endearment gives a realistic depiction that strikes a chord of resonance in many viewers.

A housewife in Seoul discovers that her lawyer husband has an affair with one of his subordinates. Knowing the bitterness of a divorced woman's life, she doesn't have courage to divorce her husband... A young woman cohabiting with her boyfriend is carrying his child. Although the return of her first love has awaken the sweetness of that relationship, she decides to marry her boyfriend and give birth to their child. But to her surprise, her bridegroom flee the wedding... Find out what will happen to these two women in Terms of Endearment!

This series is basically showing how difficult life could be as a woman in Korea. They have no pride when they have take a wrong step. People curse and condemn them. Unlike the man, how bad they are, they are able to face the public. It really show the unfairness between the the males and females. Though there is good ending but I still dislike the show. Women with strong character can't accept this show definitely...this is what I feel.

I enjoyed watching the drama. I especially liked the
last episode #60. I loved Actor Song Il-gook's part.
He played very well. The last scene was so beautiful: his acting, holding daughter Eun Soo, his tears, he was super actor. The scene stirred my heart.
He weathered the storms in life. His love for Eun Pa, still undimished. Bravo Song Il-gook
