Korea's Dancing Queen Uhm Jung Hwa, who is busy all around the clock with movie shooting and album recording, is back with her 9th major album. Whereas her previous work was oriented towards electronica sounds, Uhm's latest album brings more mainstream pop with some experimental new material.

Prestige features 13 tracks, including the controversial principle song Come 2 Me, as well as "Wind Song" (Track 6) and "Love, Love" (Track 12). Among the contributing guest artists are synth techno act W, techno duo Casker, the peppertones, composer Kim Do Hyun (who earlier worked for Rain and several female R&B stars including Lee Hyo Lee), and bassist/programmer Ji Nu from the trio Rollercoaster. As for Uhm herself, she not only provided the vocals, but also worked as songwriter on this promising new album.

A few songs swing into the 70s style of music. However, the background music is simply marvelous!
She is indeed commonly known as KOrean Madonna and is among the big-league singers!

Don't you think its great when a singer tries to go into different kind of music? This album is very unique and i personally love this kind of music.

If you're into good dancing beats with fun vocal melodies, this is the album for you.

Her title Come2me is very good. I have a feeling that maybe Ticket to the Moon will be her next hit. Or it'll be friday night...

anyways, this is a very good album. She is truly the Queen of KPOP.. hands down.

Weird Cd....... Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
This Cd reminds me SOOOOO much of Kim Hyun Jung's I Love Jazz or Vol. 7....it is VERY experimental with some very odd song, vocal, and rhythm choices. One song that proves this is track 13 which is a cell phone call with a jazzy/blues beat in the background and in between the call you randomly hear "Nan nan nan nan nan nan Saranghae....Saranghae nan Saranghag. Nan nan nan nan nan nan Saranghae, yung one ee. I only know bits of the Korean Language so I don't know exactly what the cell phone calls are about but it is def an odd song.

Her hit song #3 has an odd rythm but I have to admit it is rather catchy and her performance is kinda hott...she looks good with short hair and she chose a good song to start with from this CD.

Track 11 has a nice sultry type beat to it. It reminds me of a nice winter day but again her lyrics sound a little off and flat in places.....but overall it is a peaceful song.

Track #7 has a REALLY good beat but her vocals almost ruin the song for me because she just sounds almost annoying in certain points before the chorus where her voice breaks in and out. The Song itself is awesome beat wise but she really did bad with the lyrics IMO, but I am sure eventually it will grow on me simply because I like the beat.

Some of the tracks like track 1, track 2, track 4 and track 5 sound as if they are directly taken out of the 70's and 80's and are VERY experimental....they are all just decent. Out of the 4 I would pick track 5 as my favorite of that style and it is just a mellow relaxing type song...NOTHING SPECIAL **YAWN**

Track 3, 6 8 and 9 are definately the best tracks on the CD with 8 really reminding me of her last double cd kinda sounding like a mix between Union of the Snake and Eternity.

Overall I think her next single will be from the listed 4 of my "good" category above with it most likely being track 6. I think she did good with Come 2 me as her first single...it is really an interesting song.

Overall the Cd is Sub-par for someone who has been in the business this long and is on her 9th volume but again it does have some decent tracks that will probably do well on the charts given her popularity and following...
