Yoo Jin, however, falls in love with mysterious transfer student Joon Sang (Bae Yong Joon). Tragically, Joon Sang soon passes away in a car accident, leaving Yoo Jin alone and heartbroken. Ten years later, Yoo Jin is now engaged to Sang Hyuk, and working as an interior designer. Starting on a new ski resort project, she is surprised to meet Min Yeong, a businessman who looks exactly like Joon Sang. Min Yeong's appearance throws Yoo Jin's life into confusion, awakening the feelings that she has never been able to let go of. But who exactly is Min Yeong, and where does his heart lie?

Second Only to Scent of Summer

Although this is also a love story with a believable plot, I am still voting for Scent of Summer as no. 1 in entertainment value. Winter Sonata's 2 main characters are great performance-wise. Music is haunting but no variation. Winter scenery is fantastic. Dialogue is not so heart-wrenching. I don't know if it's because of the sub-title translation (I am not Korean speaker). It is only after watching the 3rd CD that I could not stop watching. Whereas, Scent of Summer from the beginning episode up to the last is truly mesmerizing. All casts of Scent of Summer are lovable. On Winter Sonata, the rest of the charactors are did not evoke much symphathy or emotional reaction from me. However, this is much better than Autumn of My Heart. Yes, I have watched all season-named TV Series. I am giving an over-all score of 10 for entertainment value but I am not emotionally overwhelmed. To the writer/director of this series, there's a lesson to be learned from Scent of Summer

winter love song

This was another very slow going romance that needed a lot of patience to watch through. The beginning was unwatchable, a bunch of adults trying to act as high school students. Choi ji Woo is a melancholic beauty, her acting always the same to me--- limited. There was no intensity, no spark, it was like a romance between tired middle age people. I was not feeling compelled to watch it all. The director made the mistake as other dramas, too slow, lost the plot half way.The storyline was dull, not romantic enough for me. I did not like the Bae Boon Joon's acting either, there was just an absence of expression.

Mismerized and strucked by this korean drama as I have watched it and being carried away by the two lead stars by their role. I can say that it is the loveliest melodrama I have seen on the screen. An admirer of the two lead strars from Paris.

This is the first ever Korean Video I have ever watched. The story line may have been a cliche, but I give full credit to the acting of the cast especially that of Bae Yong Joon. The acting was really superb that he made me cry buckets of tears. His eyes could speak volumes of emotions sans the need of him speaking up - the angst, sadness and even happiness - a consummate actor. I salute the director for his great execution. The scenery was so great and beautiful it made me feel and believe that it's so nice to visit the scenic places shown during winter time.

The heartwarming scenes and the beautiful music are worth reminiscing.
